This adapter worked perfectly with my 2025 Kia Sportage EX. Installation was incredibly easy, I only had to remove the small plastic cover around the rearview mirror arm, plug in the Dongar adapter, and connect my dash cam. No wire splicing, no running cables down the A-pillar, and the installation looks completely factory. It powers my dash cam reliably every time I start the car. If you have a 2025 Kia Sportage EX and want a clean, hidden installation, I highly recommend this adapter.

Got this because of problems trying to use a mirror tap. Turned out to be good decision. Was easy to hook up, and after a bit of study, figured out how to get the connector inside the rear view plastic mounting. Plugged in radar detector and it worked. Happy with this product.

Well made and fits OEM connectors perfectly. I can confirm it is compatible with a 2024 Genesis GV60 in addition to the other models listed. It tucks in nicely behind the stock camera shroud too, making for a very seamless install. I used it with a Vantrue dash cam and they play nicely together. The mirror power comes on and off with the car and therefore so does the dash cam. It's a great solution for installing a dash cam without futzing around in the fuse box.

This works perfectly in my 2025 Kia Niro SX touring PHEV. I purchased another one before and it didn’t work at all, and I thought that there was no electricity going to the mirror, but there is. If you have an automatic, dimming mirror, there is electricity going to it. I did have to get an adapter for the USB-C to mini USB for my camera, however, it wasn’t a big deal and I it totally worked! I’m extremely pleased. This came with only the power adapter and a USB-C to USB-C cable. There was no pry tool. All of the wires and connections easily fit into the plastic housing above the rearview mirror with only one wire coming out to connect to the camera. It looks extremely clean and I’m so so happy.

This Dongar dashcam adapter for Hyundai/Kia models is a game-changer. It was perfectly compatible and I installed it in my '23 Hyundai Tucson Limited. Setup was a breeze; pure plug-and-play that wrapped up in under 15 minutes. All I did was pop open the middle rearview mirror panel using a small plastic pry tool, click the adapter into place, and hook up my Freexar D4 dashcam. Cable management was zero hassle since I just tucked the extra wiring right behind the side coverings without needing to pull anything else apart. The fit is seamless. The build quality is very good; sturdily constructed from solid materials, and the connectivity is rock-solid with zero drops when the car starts up. My only real challenge is the cost. It feels just a tad bit steep, and a $7 price cut would put it right in the sweet spot. Aside from that, if you drive a Hyundai/Kia and want a stealthy dashcam wire setup, this thing is a no-brainer.

I have a 2025 Kia EV6 Wind. This works perfectly. In my old car I had wires running around the headliner and down the door. It was a huge pain. This looks very neat and was super easy to install.

It works well with my new 2026 Genesis GV70. Fits perfectly.

I own KIA Sportage SX (made in 2022) and I was excited ordering this connector for my dashcam. Regretfully, as you can see on the photo, it doesn't match the connectors I have in my car, which is quite strange and seems to be rather my problem, as many other people here reported that it fit their cars. The package came on time, non-damaged, and the quality was good, so I still add the stars, but I have to send it back.

I have a 2021 Kia Sportage (which I couldn’t even find listed as a compatible model) and this has worked perfectly. Easy to set up and saves having to hide the cable which is fiddly particularly around the pillars of the car with airbags etc. its pricey for what it is but has saved me bags of time in fitting the camera so worth it
