Great value, quality and color options
The flute sounds great. It does what we need it too without costing a fortune. The color choice gives my daughter options to feel more stylish in her selection and stand out from all the silver flutes in band. The more personal you can make it, the more excited the children are about it. More individuality is always a plus for any product. I can't speak about it's longevity, since we've only had it a month, but based on first impressions -it's a great buy and a wonderful alternative to renting without spending professional prices. My only complaints are that I wish the lacker was a bit thicker. The hinges on the case could be revised to be more sturdy and the tiny music stand is a bit of a mystery. None of my negatives would keep me from purchasing another, should my other daughter wish to play flute as well. Perhaps she'd like a different color. Neon colors as well as prints and patterns might be interesting. Black and white checkerboard would be very studious for more choice in the case coverings.
