Innovative Marine Accudrip Acclimator

I’ve been using this Innovative Marine Accudrip Acclimator to acclimate all of my shrimp to my tanks, and it’s worked very well. I used to have a more expensive device that came with its own cup and accessories, but since I can’t find that one anymore, I switched to this model. While I do have to provide my own bowl, the acclimator itself performs exactly as needed and makes the process smooth and reliable. The design is simple but effective, allowing for a controlled drip that helps shrimp adjust safely to new water conditions. It’s easy to set up, doesn’t require complicated parts, and gives me confidence that I’m reducing stress during acclimation. For something so straightforward, it delivers consistent results every time. What I appreciate most is the balance of affordability and functionality. Even without the included cup, it’s still a dependable tool that does the job well. Compared to pricier options, this acclimator offers excellent value, and it’s become my go‑to solution for every shrimp transfer. Over time, I’ve found it to be durable and dependable across repeated use. I’ve used it for multiple acclimations across different tanks, and it continues to hold up without issues. The tubing and valve remain consistent, and the drip control stays accurate even after repeated setups. That kind of reliability makes it a tool I trust, and it’s why I’ve stuck with it as my standard acclimation method. I love love love using this item. It delivers it top quality. It makes exclamation so much easier and better for your livestock. I like that. It has a hook shape on top that conveniently just stays put on your tank throughout the whole process. And you basically operated Like an IV trip. It has a little bubble that allows you to monitor Drop frequency and the flow adjuster that works exactly the way it’s supposed to work. I normally just let it trip at three drops per second and double up volume of water in a 1 L container Starting with probably one cup of water from the sheep bag. A couple of times after having floated the livestock bags in the tank for temperature exclamation. It certainly beats adding water with a cup every 15 minutes or so. So simple that my three year old already knows the process and explained it perfectly to his babysitter the other day. Lol. Lasts a while too. I just ordered a second one because I thought I lost my original one from three years ago and I just found them and now I have both and the old one still works just as good as new.IM is a great company and the products are amazing. Thank you for making them. One suggestion your name make for users is make sure you wash yours thoroughly with freshwater after use because I don’t and my old one has developed some mold inside the tube. But it still works regardless.

I didn't bother to read instructions. It was simple and easy to use. Self-explanatory. It's a suction where the tool thingy can be adjusted to allow more or less water through, thus causing the water to drip and help acclimate your fish/shrimp to their new home. 5 star review. But seeing this is all plastic and whatever, it's a tad bit pricy. Lol.

I know most people will tell you to just make your own drip acclimation setup but I couldn’t find anything at my local pet stores so I resorted to Amazon. This was the only product I could find and so I went for it. I have to say it works just as described. You are in total control of the pace it drops and the curve saved me the hassle of fumbling around trying to keep the tube in the tank. Would buy again if I needed to. Worth the money for sure

Does what it says. The tubing was a little long for my setup, but easy enough to manage with some coiling or a hook. Only real downside is that it can be a bit messy when draining I use it when adding fish, shrimp, or doing small water changes on a couple tanks. it works great. If you’re doing this every day or managing a lot of tanks, there’s probably a better and/or more "pro" setup out there. But for the price, it’s solid. Four stars. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done without too much hassle.

Allows for extremely precise and easily adjustable drip acclimation. The rolling clamp can be moved up and down along the tube. Sturdy J tube and soft flexible tubing. This product is for someone who wants a well built permanent solution for acclimation and not have a janky DIY drip acclimation that’s difficult to adjust and is an eye sore.

I was resistant to getting one of these initially, but glad to have it. super easy to use and adjust the flow rate. the flexibility means it’s easy to store with the rest of my aquarium supplies.

Easy to use, works like it says it does. Used it to acclimate an adopted betta, right in the bowl I adopted him in.

I should have gotten this earlier. Now supplying the tank with fresh water without causing shock to my shrimps is so much easier and convenient. Look at how happy my fire red shrimps are (see last photo). Previously, I was using the water bottle drip irrigation method to do water change. I will hang the device at the edge of the shrimp tank. However, if the water bottle wasn't steady enough when I placed it and falls, my floor will be flooded and there was a lot of cleaning to do. I don't have this worry anymore. It's worth the price to save me time and effort. Also, it's a much hassle-free setup. The only downside is the hook end is not long enough to reach the bottom of the container (see second photo). Once the water reaches the end of the hook, the drip stops and I'll transfer the remaining water to a 1L beaker, so that the hook end can get the water again. After the 1L beaker (because the hook end doesn't reach its bottom too), I'll repeat the process with a 500ml beaker, which is the final step where all water will be dripped out. It may sound like a lot of trouble, but it's a lot easier than what I was doing previously. So this small hassle is still alright. 'cos I love my shrimp babies!!! Just a suggestion to the seller, I think what could make this better is if you can provide a connecting tube for the hook, to solve the problem I have. I'd think other aquarium hobbyists may also encounter this. In the meantime, I'll find a suitable tube size for the hook end and improve on this on my own (maybe I'll cut the other end of this device...hmm). Hope this review has been useful.

Works well another quality product from innovative marine.I use it for acclimating shrimp and snails and does the job.
