For new born who has not yet managed to have strength in neck, its very difficult to hold baby safely if you are not used to it. But this pad makes it easy task keeping baby also very comfortable. And its east to hold and carry baby around house.Whenever baby is awake (for 10-30 minutes every few hours) and any family member except mother wants to take it, we just put baby into holder as we know that baby its safe and comfortable as well as any one (like any guests or kids) as well can hold it or keep this on their lap without worries.Being said that, mother feels little uncomfortable sometimes to use this for feeding but still its worth every penny.I would recommend for new born families. Also good choice as gift for someone.
