Black Spin Pins

After watching a few YouTube videos of people successfully using these to quickly and easily create gorgeous buns and other updos without even needing hairspray, and lasting securely, I decided to give them a try. I have mid-back length thick hair and have only had success with huge “claw” clips which I find uncomfortable through the day and too casual for my work settings. INCREDIBLE!!! In just pulling my hair into a ponytail but without need to secure it, then twisting it all while coiling it into a bun against my head, I easily twisted 3 of these magical gizmos (could have just used 2, but wanted to be secure), presto! A professional looking bun without requiring hair spray or bunches of Bobby pins. Instantly I could tell it was going to hold, and it did! No pain and no feeling of tugging heavily. I LOVE these amazing curly pins. At the end of the evening I easily untwisted them out of my hair. BEST invention ever! Zero damage to my hair. Fantastic!!!

This is my first time using this type of bobby pins. I wish I knew about these before!! They’re easy to use and remove. It held my hair up the entire time. The edges didn’t hurt my scalp. It was light and I couldn’t feel them. It works well under a wig. Wonderful product.

I have always struggled with ways to keep my hair in a bun b/c my hair is long, coarse/thick, and super straight (Asian hair). Scrunchies and every hair tie you can imagine never worked to hold my heavy, thick hair up. These spin pins WORK! No joke! I saw other reviews about the ends being uneven (pointy, knobby, etc.) but mine were perfect. They did not hurt when they were inserted or removed. They were stiff and solid, so they didn't bend or get out of shape when I used them (which is what happened a lot with bobby pins and other straight pins). They were also long enough to get the right amount of hold even while vigorously exercising. If they'd been shorter, they might not have held as well. The only thing is I wish they carried them in black. Other than that, these are perfect and I highly recommend them. For women with super fine hair, you might be OK with shorter pins.

I happened to see these twist screw hair pins on a random Instagram video. I'm not sure how I never saw these before, but as soon as I did, I headed over to Amazon to find them. I saw a lot of good reviews for these and decided to give it a shot. I'm in love! First thing I did when they came is was put my hair up into a bun. It took me a try or two to figure out the best placement and how many I needed, but I'm amazed by the results. A little background: I have thick, heavy hair and usually use an elastic band to make a bun. No matter how many ways I try wrapping my hair and securing the elastic, it always seems to pull in uncomfortable spots and after about an hour, I have to take it out because of the pain. Attempts to use other hairpins to help the situation often just make it worse. Not with these! I had my hair up for the entire day with just two twist pins. I found myself shaking my head back and forth throughout the day to see if it would start to slip out, but it didn't. It stayed comfortably all day. The next day, I braided both sides into french braids and tied them off with a tiny elastic, then made a low bun with the rest. I was able to secure the braided sections in with these pins and was surprised to find that it held! I've tried this in the past with regular bobby pins and it's never held. I'm so excited to try out other styles!

These are not great for short hair. I think maybe if my hair were longer they may work but I ended up returning them. They are very easy to use but if your hair is heavily layered or short. they will be dificult to use especially if you want a low bun. I have very thick hair and i used the entire pack and it still fell out. I also saw someone who said that it bent in their hair, unfortunately, one of them bent in my hair too. If youve tried them before, these may be fine for you but if you have thick hair they may bend. The value is there and the quality is almost there but not if your hair is very thick.

I LOVE the engineering behind these- they work SO well to hold your hair in place, and are the easiest things ever to use. My hair goes down to my waist/butt, so finding hair clips or anything that’ll support the weight of my hair is so difficult. For these, I twist my hair, then twist it into a bun, use all 8 of the Bobby pins, and it stays ALL DAY. The very best part? NO KNOTS AT ALL. I take them out (this takes slightly longer since you have to relocate them all in your hair haha, but still isn’t a deterrent at all for me) and my hair isn’t at ALL tangled. I’ve had them for about a week and it literally has saved me so much hassle, time, and de-tangling pain every single day so far. To the point of finding it worth it to write a review for other people with long hair like mine, because it has literally changed my life haha. I bought these on a whim, as I was getting tired of breaking so many hair clips (and having to use 4 to hold up my hair with an elastic, which looks pretty ugly, but options are limited with hair as long as mine). So instead of buying more plastic clips, I gave these a go and I have never been more surprised and pleased with a purchase. If you have long hair, I HIGHLY recommend these. Oh and as a note- my hair is very long, but also very fine and naturally straight. I mention this only because I’m not sure if they’ll be as amazing for curlier and/or thicker hair, but I’d probably still give it a shot regardless tbh- but I may be biased, as my hair has legit never been easier to manage.

These are the best hair clips ever! I received this product in good condition and right on time! Why did it take me so long for me to finally find this product???? It works just as described. They insert into your hair ponytail/messy bun so easily and comes out just as easily and hold it in place! My hair doesn't turn into a huge "rats nest" while I try to remove clips! For reference I have long thick hair and other hair clips don't come close. I'll become a "forever " customer. Please try this product , they're great, you won't be disappointed!

Perfect! These are the real deal, the knockoffs are too flimsy or have sharp edges - these are the OGs that made this all work. Get these!

It's amazing simplicity, it works perfectly, I'm a hairdresser and any woman or man for that matter who doesn't have these you need to order them. Amazing!!! 1 pin is ALL it took to hold my bun in place ALL DAY. Buy some immediately and say goodbye to Bobby pins forever !
