I sustained a back injury a couple of years ago. Three bulging discs in my lower back. It's taken a lot of physical therapy and exercise to recover from. I've got ice packs and they work for what I need them for. They don't stay cold for much longer than 15-20 minutes, but they're okay. But then I hurt my left shoulder a few months ago, and those ice packs weren't working so well. Very awkward and I couldn't adjust them to where I needed the cold to be. I needed something that worked better. I found these. There's a lot of shoulder packs to find on Amazon but I didn't like how so many of them looked super bulky. It's good to have ice where you need it, but I also like mobility. I found Newgo and decided I would try it out. I love this company's products so much that I decided to check to see if they had ice packs for your back. When I saw they do I didn't hesitate to make the purchase. This pack stays comfortably on my lower back and doesn't move. It's so easy to put the ice pack in and just as easy to put on. The velcro is solid but not so solid you can't get it on but not back off. It works like a dream. This is very reasonably priced and, unlike the shoulder pack, this comes with 2 gel packs. I use both to alternate heat and ice as needed. I know enough chiropractors, massage therapists, and physical therapists to know that the rule for muscles is 15 minutes of heat and 15 minutes of ice. With this you can do both and it is wonderful and comfortable. Like I've told my little brother, when you get older it's like the check engine light is always on, so it is good to stock up on items that improve your quality of life. Something in/on your body is going to flare up and hurt eventually, so it's good to have an ice pack ready for it when it does. This is a pretty good company to go with. I'm impressed with their products.

This is a MUST HAVE if you are preparing or recently had a lower lumbar surgery! I live in this thing! I ordered this back in November 2024 in preparation for a lower back surgery. After surgery, I wore this thing all day, every day for months! I ended up needing another back surgery in the same place in May 2025 and I still use it all the time. Most of the time I can replace taking ibuprofen by using this ice pack. Mine came with two inserts so I'm able to swap them out if I need to go longer. They stay cold for about 45 minutes. My husband uses it when he's got an achey back too.

Easy to wear. The gel packs can be frozen or heated. Straps on to your body so that you can continue your activities whilst wearing. It’s a durable pouch. Great product.

I bought this hot and cold gel ice pack for my husband because he has recurring back pain. He likes to alternate between heat and cold and this gel pack is perfect for that. It fits him nicely and since the strap is adjustable, I can wear it as well if I need it. I like that you can quickly heat it up in the microwave if you want to use the heat or you can pop it in the freezer or refrigerator for an hour or two to use the cold. It was nice that it also came with a resealable bag to place it in when you stored in the freezer. I also like that there are two gel packs so one could be dedicated for heat and one could be used for cold. Overall, my husband is happy with this gel pack and the fact that he no longer has to use a zipper bag full of ice that melts.

Easy to use, covers the right amount of my back, stays cold a good long time. Good price, highly recommend!
