Love this toothbrush! Part of daily routine.
Love the toothbrush and the price. This seems to keep my teeth healthy and white. It also keeps my gums healthy and the two power level are great. The size is slim and the brush options are great, except the brush heads are costly, in my opinion. Good thing they don’t wear out that quickly and are very durable. It charges quickly.

Excellent toothbrush.
The Philips Sonicare 4100 Series is the only Sonicare toothbrush specifically recommended for its effectiveness and value. Any one that has more bells-and-whistles is personal preference. There is none better functionally.

The "No-Nonsense" Toothbrush
The Bottom Line If you’re looking for a solid electric toothbrush that just works without a bunch of fancy (and expensive) apps, this Sonicare is a great pick. It’s simple, tough, and gets the job done without breaking the bank. What’s to Like? Serious Power: You can really see the vibration intensity when you get the brush head near water. It’s got plenty of "oomph" to make your teeth feel way cleaner than a regular manual brush. Super Simple: There’s one button. That’s it. You don’t need a manual to figure out how to turn it on or use it. Smart Reminders: Even though it’s basic, it’s smart enough to have little lights at the bottom that tell you when the battery is low or when it’s time to swap out the brush head. Travel-Friendly: The heads snap on and off easily, and they come with these handy little plastic caps to keep the bristles clean in your bag. The Trade-offs Basic Vibes: It doesn’t have different modes (like "whitening" or "sensitive") or a pressure sensor that beeps at you if you’re pressing too hard. Classic Design: It’s not the quietest thing in the world, but that’s just the trade-off for that high-intensity cleaning power. Final Thought: This is the "Old Reliable" of toothbrushes. It’s got a nice weight to it, feels high-quality in your hand, and focuses on actually cleaning your teeth rather than having a bunch of tech you’ll never use. Definitely worth the buy!

Good value electric toothbrush
Philips Sonicare 4100 is a strong, no‑frills electric toothbrush that delivers an excellent clean with a few quirks buyers should know upfront. It is a good fit if you want effective plaque removal and a pressure sensor without paying for full “smart” connectivity. Pros: - Cleans noticeably better than a manual brush; teeth feel smoother and plaque along the gumline is reduced. - Slim brush head and handle make it easy to reach back molars and tight areas. - Built‑in pressure sensor lowers intensity when brushing too hard, which helps protect gums and enamel. - Two intensity levels are helpful if you have sensitive teeth or are new to sonic brushes. - SmarTimer with 2‑minute timer and 30‑second QuadPacer encourages full‑mouth coverage and consistent brushing time. - Around 14‑day battery life on a full charge with twice‑daily use, so it does not live on the charger. - Compact USB charging base is travel‑friendly and works with common USB power adapters. Cons - On my handle, the pressure sensor feedback and QuadPacer were not clearly active by default, which was disappointing given those are key selling points. - Only one cleaning mode (with two intensity levels), so there are no dedicated whitening or gum‑care programs. - Comes with one brush head, so you will need to buy extras fairly soon, especially if more than one person will share it. - Replacement heads can be pricey over time, raising the long‑term cost of ownership. - No wall adapter included in the box; you must supply your own USB power brick or use an existing USB port. Bottom line - Excellent daily cleaning performance and gum protection features at a mid‑range price. - Best for shoppers who value a simple, effective sonic brush and do not need multiple smart modes or app integration. - In my case, It would be close to perfect if the pressure sensor and quad timer behavior were more obvious and reliably enabled out of the box.

Excellent Performance and Battery Life.
I absolutely love this toothbrush! It works great and has made a noticeable difference in how clean my teeth feel compared to a manual brush. One of the best parts is the battery life—I can easily go a solid two weeks on a single charge, which makes it perfect for travel since I don't always have to bring the charger. It's also very easy to clean; the design is sleek and doesn't have a lot of tiny crevices where toothpaste can build up. They designed it with two intensity settings, so you can easily switch between the two speeds with the click of the button. If you want a reliable electric toothbrush without a bunch of unnecessary features, this is the one to get

Great electric toothbrush for price
Bought to replace an old electric toothbrush. It runs for 2 minutes total with beeps every 30 seconds to let you know to change areas. Small and compact. Great for travel as the battery will last for days in between charges. Makes teeth feel very clean.

A Report from the Front Lines of Oral Hygiene
Dateline: A Bathroom Sink, Under the Unforgiving Glare of the Vanity Lights. For years, the act of brushing your teeth has been a sleepy, half-conscious affair. A dull, buzzing ritual performed on autopilot before you either face the horrors of the day or collapse into bed. You thought you knew what an electric toothbrush felt like. You were wrong. You were living a lie. I am here to tell you about the Philips Sonicare 4100. And I am here to tell you that it is a different beast entirely. It sits in your hand with a comfortable, substantial heft—a proper tool, not some flimsy, skinny wand. The handle is sturdy, the build quality immaculate. It feels like a serious instrument for a serious job. I applied the paste, brought the brush to my teeth with the casual indifference born of long habit, and thumbed the power button. And was immediately jolted awake by a profound, high-frequency thrum. This was not the gentle back-and-forth of a lesser brush. This was a jump scare. A sudden, powerful hum that felt like I was holding a swarm of microscopic, hyper-caffeinated jackhammers against my teeth. This is the "sonic" part of the name, a technology that vibrates with a speed and intensity that is both shocking and deeply, profoundly effective. You can feel the difference. It's a sensation of being deep-cleaned, of having years of coffee stains and bad decisions power-washed into oblivion. There are smart features, of course. A pressure sensor that gently chides you if you're pressing too hard, a built-in coach to keep you from savaging your own gums. A timer that dutifully guides you through the quadrants of your mouth. The included cap for the brush head is a simple, welcome touch of practical genius. But we must address the one, single, baffling decision that holds this marvel back from pure, unadulterated perfection: the charger. In a world that has finally, blessedly, begun to standardize around the glorious, universal USB-C port, Philips has chosen to tether this futuristic cleaning wand to a proprietary, old-world charging base. It is a strange, frustrating relic, a small annoyance that requires its own dedicated spot on your counter, unable to join the happy family of your other modern chargers. Even so, that one grievance is a whisper in the face of the roaring, high-frequency hurricane of cleaning power this toothbrush provides. The Sonicare 4100 is an impressive, powerful, and brilliantly effective piece of technology. It transforms the most mundane of daily chores into a high-performance event. A five-star champion that will leave your mouth feeling cleaner than you ever thought possible.

Good for the money
We bought three of these electric toothbrushes on sale during Christmas time. Two of the three still hold a great charge but one seems to not hold a charge more than a few days. When they work, they are great brushes and the heads are nice sized to fit in any position around your mouth. Only difficult to reach spot is very back tooth on top and bottom
