Klein Tools 55600 Work Cooler, 17-Quart Lunch Box Holds 18 Cans, Keeps Cool 3...

I bought this for my husband to use as a lunch cooler. I have purchased the usual brands in the past and they either don't keep his food cold all day or the are flimsy and end up coming home with duct tape holding the lid on. And don't get me started on the prices for these pieces of junk with a "name" on them. When I saw this I thought "why not, Klein makes tough tools, why not a cooler". It came pretty quickly and I also ordered the 2 Klein ice packs for the bottom. It is a really sturdy cooler and can actually double as a seat at break time! It has a ton of room inside and a secure compartment in the lid for napkins, utensils, whatever. PERFECT! The first lunch i packed all fit with no squishing and the carry strap works much better than those solid handles that can't be thrown over your shoulder. It has a place for a lock on the lid if you happen to have a snack cake snatched on site and we've all had one of those at one time or another! It kept my husband's lunch cold, his drinks frosty and his brownies safe! This is THE BEST COOLER I have ever purchased and I will never, ever spend too much money on those other brands again! And you shouldn't either! We have taken it to the beach, the lake, fishing trips, you name it and it always performs at 110%.

Absolutely amazing cooler for the price! For context, I am a FedEx delivery driver. It is hot out, So I purchased this cooler for full intentions to leave it in the step van while I'm at work. So it stays in the van 24/7 because I run the same truck everyday. I needed a cooler to keep in the truck because my little lunchbox just wasn't cutting it anymore. I fill it with water bottles and food/snacks if I need to for the day. I keep 6 bottles of water at all times, and fill it with ice every morning, well, kind of. When I get back for the day, there is still PLENTY of ice, but of course, the back of that van is hot. So for the normal person, this cooler would be great. Mine stays in hot conditions, the ice lasts 18+ hours easily. Which is more than enough for my purposes. I've had it for a couple weeks now, and decided to finally write a review! The other day, I'm driving to my next stop, going out windy tight West Virginia mountain roads going about 40-45mph, trying to be quick, I was like a FedEx Nascar driver (Just kidding lol)...I cut a turn a little sharp and apparently the cooler slid from the back, out to the cab, and out my open side door. It smacked the side of the mountain. I slammed on the brakes and put it in reverse to go back and get it (It's not a busy road) and my drinks and ice were everywhere. I thought for sure the cooler was in pieces, but NOPE! It literally only got a couple scratches on it! I am absolutely thoroughly impressed with the quality of this Klein Cooler!! I now have a carbiner clip on the lock so incase something like this happens again it won't fly open 🤣 All in all, the cooler, the ability to lock it, the step stool feature, and the inside storage is a 10/10 for me!!!! Would absolutely recommend this cooler!!

Great cooler if I have it out in direct sunlight it holds ice for a whole day if I have it in my truck it holds ice for two and a half days. Small enough to fit in my tractor but big enough to hold anything I might need I usually keep six bottles of water and Three monsters. I forgot it was on the back of my flatbed and took off with it down the road it fell off while I was going about 20 mph and didn't really damage the cooler a whole lot so it's pretty durable. I've had several different kinds of coolers including igloo, lifetime and Ozark trails but for the price of this cooler and the quality of it I'm placing another order for two of them as gifts. I might even buy the bigger version just to keep on my truck but so far this one has held up and has been my longest lasting cooler

This thing is big, tough and sturdy. Coworker commented if I brought a mini fridge for lunch haha I'll have this beast for years. I bought it because I work outdoors and moving from site to site. I'll need somewhere to sit while I eat which is one of the selling points of this monster. It'll be easy to clean, just spray it down with the hose. The strap is strong and the metal side attachments make me believe that I'll be able to carry this wherever I go for years. There's one dry compartment inside the top lid. Kinda wish there was additional pockets or pouches but this thing is enormous inside so there's plenty of room for whatever you bring for lunch. Buy it.

Add a handle and it would be a 10 star cooler!!!! This cooler is great for summertime use in construction. It's bigger than an average lunch box cooler so it holds more drinks. Keeps things nice and cold. Makes a great seat for sitting on without denting the lid (I'm 220lbs). Definitely durable. My only complaint is it doesn't have a handle. That's not a deal-breaker but it makes it harder to get it out of your car. It does have a heavy duty strap. But add a handle and it's the perfect cooler.

Had ice last nearly 3 days, retains cold well. It's been between 80 & 95 degrees

Really good cooler. Solid handle/strap and lid. Sturdy for sitting on. Keeps food cold about as good as much higher end coolers in this size range. Easy to clean. The only downside I've run into is it is NOT waterproof, left in the rain it will take on water

My boyfriend absolutely loves this lunch box. He can fit his lunch plus a 2L water bottle without any problem, and it still closes easily. It’s also very sturdy—he can comfortably sit on it during his breaks. Great quality and very practical! A little big but worth it
