Does the job well!
I love this TOMLOV D M 202. I needed a microscope to look at coins. Mr Penny recommended This TOMLOV D M 202. He’s the man when it comes to Pennie’s. So here I am today with this scope and the smaller, TOLOV TM-DM9. Also a great scope. Getting ready to buy a third TOMLOV D M 202. Tammy in TX. Easy to use- value for your money. It only takes a few good finds and you’ll pay for your microscope. The picture quality is beautiful and easy on your eyes.

Large coins can be viewed
I bought it to view large coins and it does that perfectly! Power cord is a bit short. Overall nice piece of equipment!

Very good resolution and has a lot of options.
- Service and help are great - very good to work with. - Ez to use with windows camera. -has good lights -has a nice remote that allows zoom. - very easy to use and set up. -you can get the entire coin in the screen. -has great hdmi output with included cable. You can go directly into a monitor. - you can also connect usb to your computer to transfer pictures, input to windows camera or mac photo booth. However, to do this you need to be fully charged as it uses the charging port. FYI, I had a Mirabox HDMI capture box I wasn't using so I took the HDMI output of the TOMLOV to the HDMI input of the Mirabox, and then the usb out of the MIRABOX directly into my computer. -also takes it's own pictures and stores them on a mini sd card (included). - i use it for coins and the clarity is outstanding. -I am using it out of the box, but I see there are tons of adjustments in the menu's. -has a nice solid base. I would recommend to a friend.

Screen freezes occasionally but works good otherwise.
Three times now when I press the on button it starts and the "TOMLOV" logo appears on the screen as normal, however it remains frozen and anything I try will not resolve it. Not being able to turn it off I unplugged it and let the battery die. Plugged it back in and let the battery charge overnight. Pressed the on button the next morning and it started correctly. A minor annoyance because when it malfunctions it's unusable for a day. Works good for identifying coins when it works. I've achieved good results playing with the lighting. Try turning the various lights on or off, change the intensity, move the flex arm lights into different positions, etc. I was struggling with a copper coin and after toying with the lights the letters suddenly popped. If not for that one issue I would give it 5 stars.

Great for the price.
Just received this product and started testing it out. What I like: 1) Easy setup 2) Every is metal and feels solid 3) Comes with everything you need (e.g., the HDMI cable) plus a light shield 4) LED lights are bright and easily adjustable 5) Menu was easy to figure out and responsive 6) Manual is pretty good albeit there are some small grammatical errors but nothing that caused any confusion 7) Good picture quality (at least for my needs) 8) Came with a 32GB microSD card installed 9) Was already fully charged 10) Easily adjust LED brightness via sliding touch sensor on bade There are a few things that I think can be improved: 1) USB power cable is quite short and I need to use an extension cord to plug it in. 2) If you want to charge the battery you need to plug the power into the monitor and then when you use it you plus the monitor into the base. However, if you want to run it while plugged in, you need to connect power to the base and then from the base to the monitor. This isn't difficult, just a little inconvenient. 3) When tightening the height adjustment, it changes the height slightly so you many need to set it slightly lower and then tighten it to get the best picture quality. 4) Monitor stand threads (to connect to the base) should be a little longer so that it can screw in further while still pointing forward. 5) microSD card can be difficult to get back in and one time started going in on a strange vertical angle I haven't tried the video/storage yet, but so far I would definitely recommend it for the price.

Review targeted to person in electronics working with the traditional microscope 0402
I write very few reviews, but this I thought could really help someone. I have worked in electronics all my life. My first digital microscope so I cannot compare it to another, but what I can compare it to is the traditional, which for my use has now been obsoleted. I can view 0402, 0603, .5mm pitch, SOT-23, SOIC, etc, etc, with ease, clarity and better than before. I work frequently with 0603 and 0402 - never smaller, but "it looks like" I would be able to do that as well if I had to. I can output to monitor, or use as a camera, store to uSD. I do wish the base were wider (its about 4").

They don't last.
When they last, they are great. Their longevity is questionable. We have a dozen or more of these in a couple of sizes, mostly the 10.1-inch. When they work, they are pretty straightforward. We use them to inspect electronic components. They are connected to a PC and have seen little use, and great care is taken. They are not the most robust, but if handled well, they hold up nicely. The issue is that randomly, for no reason, they just die. They will freeze on the splash screen, which displays TomLov with a white background. Entirely frustrating. These have become part of our process, and now I have to keep spares on hand because several have already froze. They will not respond to button presses. They won't turn off/on, and they can't be controlled by Windows Camera. They just die and become non-operational. We are torn as to whether we will keep using them because they did not last even a year for us, and we have more than a dozen.
