Do Not Buy!!!!!!
This is the worst investment I have made in a long time. From day 1 we have had nothing but problems. First time use, the belt was slipping and iFit froze a few minutes into the workout. I tightened the belt, so that was fixed. Second workout, had a huge harmonic thud every time my foot touched down, and iFit froze a few minutes into the workout. I did some research and found out the thud was coming from the gas strut that helps lift the platform when you want to fold it. I had to disconnect the strut to get rid of the thud. Now I no longer have the option to fold the treadmill to save space when not in use. For about the next 6 workouts, iFit froze a few minutes in. We quit using iFit and only use the treadmill in manual mode now. We typically put on a video or show to watch (on our tv, not the treadmill screen) while working out but the treadmill has a rattle now that is so loud I can’t even hear the tv. I can hear the rattle with earbuds in and the volume turned all the way up. This treadmill is complete junk. I did email Nordic Track and have heard nothing in response. I thought I did enough research before I bought this treadmill, but now that I’m having issues I am finding groups on social media that are for people that made the same mistake I did. Before you purchase anything from this company, do an internet search on iFit freezing up. I got rid of a 19 year old Bowflex treadmill when I purchased this thing. The Bowflex never gave me a single issue and was a fraction of the price. When I bought the Nortic Track, I thought I was upgrading. I was wrong!

So happy with this treadmill
It's almost like in the gym. I ordered the treadmill and assembly from Amazon and everything went very well. The assembly guys came prepared and it did not take them long. They explained everything to me and were very professional. The only problem was the delivery. The delivery guy was supposed to only deliver it to the doorstep. He was very forthcoming and helped us bring the treadmill to the back of our house to the entrance of our basement (although he didn't have to). My husband and I needed several hours to actually get it into the house and move it to the right spot where it could be assembled. It is extremely heavy and would require at least four strong men to move it carefully. We were lucky we did not damage anything in that process. The treadmill itself exceeded my expectations. I have been using it for more than two months now and it did not show any issues. I am only using the manual part of the system - no IFIT app - which is easy to access. On the screen, in the upper right, there is a button for 'manual training'. The treadmill does not require any membership to start it. The manual program is simple but enough for me - it shows the speed, run-time, incline, calories etc. For runners who only need basic information and no entertainment, this treadmill fulfils more than its purpose. It can also be folded up easily but not moved easily because it is heavy (it has wheels though). The screen is really cool but it's not possible to place anything on it, like an iPad. I managed to place my iPad between the handle bar and the fan which is good enough. Overall, it looks really stylish and just like one for double the price. I can highly recommend this treadmill.

Don’t buy
Worse purchase I have made . So disappointed with this tread mill . I did not get the warranty because the previous Nordictrack treadmill I had lasted 15 yrs with no issues so when that one finally broke I purchased another ( the commercial 1750. The fan broke after just a couple of months and now 2-1/2 yrs later the control board went out and it won’t start . I am so disappointed and I paid quite a bit for it . So frustrated!

Great treadmill - ifit software needs improvement
Love the treadmill and love the ifit workouts. However, every third or fourth day I have to reboot the entire machine and download all of the updates again. It just disconnects from the internet and the screen gets stuck on "retry"-which will not respond to touch. It is quite frustrating because the reboot and re-download of the software takes about 15-20 minutes. I wish there was a fix for this- but I haven't found one yet.

Get the extended warranty/service plan
This is a great treadmill, unless like mine, your controller board fails just after the first year. A 1 year and 4 months, while running on the the treadmill the belt stopped suddenly. It wouldnt resume, so I reset the machine and did all the troubleshooting etc. Eventually I noticed a blinking red light under the front housing. Some googling informed me that 4 blinks in a pattern means a bad switch or bad controller and that if you reboot the machine and it still happens the controller needs to be replaced. No big deal, I'll reach out for a replacement part and swap it out. Except you cant. You need to pay $159+tax+fees, and maybe a travel charge for a technician to 'diagnose' and then if you need a part they order it (thats covered still) and then you need to pay for the second visit for the technician to install the part. Assuming its the same as the first visit, figure around $350 for the visits and put that towards the 5 year preventative service plan. I wish I had.

Hard to assemble! Poor customer & technical support communication. False Warranty Agreement.
First, be aware that assembly of this treadmill was extremely complex, laborious and took 2 fairly savvy people 6 hours to assemble. In the future we will buy locally or from a company with good customer service history. If you read the reviews for this equipment, our bad experience (below) is not unique. This is very disappointing for a company with a reputation like NordicTrack. Our biggest issue is the bad NordicTrack Customer Service and Technical Support through iFit company and UTS Extended service plan (Logan Utah). We had a monitor failure within 2 months of purchase. Working through the company's technical support system, we first had to rewire the entire system ourselves, using wire assemblies shipped by the company. That did not fix the problem so then the next step was to replace the monitor, also requiring our own assembly. Replacing the wiring and monitor were really difficult and took us about 20+ hours between the 2 tasks. Because of the poor customer service, difficulties communicating with the Support groups, and waiting for replacement parts to be shipped, this entire process took 3+ months, during which time we could not use the treadmill (NOTE: THIS TREADMILL CAN NOT BE USED MANUALLY WHEN THE MONITOR DOES NOT WORK). Now that we finally have a functional piece of equipment, we are so frustrated that we wish we could just return it. Unfortunately the whole process took so long that now our return option has expired, plus the prospect of disassembly and shipping it back is daunting. Here are the problems with the Customer Service system: 1. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE: NordicTrack, iFit or UTS support do not answer the phone. The two of us have spent many hours on hold with no one answering (about 20+ hours total). We tried the call back option a couple times but gave up, calls are not returned at all or only after 2 -3 days later. The chat options and email options were the only way we could get our problems addressed, and these took multiple days for each step to communicate with the personnel. 2. FALSE WARRANTY: The UTS warranty paperwork we received with the equipment has false statements. The UTS Extended Service Plan states that it will find us an "appropriate authorized service center" and that the toll free number has 24 hour customer service. When we were finally able to reach anyone about our equipment problems, we were told that it would not be possible to have an authorized service technician take care of the problem (we live in a well populated area in a major city), and that we would have to do the repairs ourselves with parts shipped to us. Also, the warranty says that Customer service is available 24/7, but when you call the toll free number on the service plan it is limited to daytime weekday hours.

Ridiculous un-cancellable subscription to useless features
Neither amazon subscriptions nor my ifit account has an active subscription, they continue to charge me even though I haven't used any features (just manually starting/stopping the machine). Cant get a hold of the support to cancel, guess I'll have to try charging back through my bank? actually unreal that a 2000 dollar treadmill cant answer a simple support request. Buyer beware

DO NOT BUY! Sent me a lemon! Awful customer service!
First off, I’ll start by saying it took a lot of convincing my husband to choose this treadmill over its competitors for our shared home gym (we both work from home). He wanted to go with the Peloton because he previously had a bike and he liked the service Peloton provided. Reviews said the Nordic Track 1750 was easy to assemble, and NT provided great service so we ultimately selected that one. The NT arrived a month ago and it took us 4 hours to assemble it together only to find out that once assembled, it was a dud. Didn’t work at all, couldn’t even turn on. We contact NT and after being passed left and right on many different phone calls, they finally tell us that we were sent a lemon and the unit had faulty wires. This required ordering a new wiring kit which was backordered for 3 weeks. The lady on the phone told us that once we receive the wiring kit we can call them so they can walk us through installation! Absolutely not, I am not an electrician! After a heated back and forth exchange they decided to send a technician to redo the electrical wires and that’s the last we heard from them. The wire kit has NOT been delivered, no ETA on when to expect that, no idea which electrician will come. Long story short, DO NOT purchase unless you are okay with spending $2,000 on an item that the manufacturers tell you you have to rewire yourself! So preposterous!
