I purchased these makeup sponges because the one I was using was getting so filthy from makeup even though I was using a makeup sponge and brush soap. Around the same time I purchased these I discovered a different sponge soap that has turned out to be a miracle cleaner. Made the last soap I was using completely useless. Since the new soap has cleaned my old sponge so well I haven't had to use these new ones. I purchased these in the past and they are good sponges. Get the right soap and they will last a long time.
