I bought this to weigh my pet rabbit that seemed to be losing weight. The tray was a little small for her so I found a larger container and just pressed the TARE button to reset the scale to zero. I tested it out with some various unopened food items and it seemed to be accurate to .01-.005kg (0.02lb). This may be an issue for a smaller animal like a lizard or rat but for a 2kg/4.4lb bunny it was fine. Some other reviews mentioned the scale being too sensitive or moving around too much to get a good reading. I found it fluctuated between 1.88-1.90kg, pretty easy to average it out to 1.89kg. I used kg because its what my vet uses but you can easily toggle between grams and pounds

I used this scale for my 21 year old cat to track her weight, before she crossed the rainbow bridge, and it did it's job. I noticed my veretenarian had the same scale, hence why I used this one. Our little kitty tolerated it. Seriously, she was a cat and cats have their own way of living life. What did I expect? I wouldn't recommend for dogs. She was so small in the end. This tracked her weight perfectly. I miss our little kitty to this day.

Bought this because my cat had a kitten and we needed to keep track of his weight. Worked great at first, we were weighing him once a day. Suddenly yesterday and today it became really inaccurate! Only lasted about a week. Don’t buy in my opinion

I think it’s relatively accurate. I bought it to help monitor my bottle baby’s development. It was easy to set up. The quality is lacking though it feels cheap. It came with a tape measure and that broke instantly. I guess for 20 bucks it isn’t horrible but it seems like a wish product instead of Amazon. I would not purchase again. But if you need something cheap and fast this isn’t a horrible choice.

This is a good quality, accurate scale. Very functional and easy to use! Also great price for the product.
