We cook rice quite a bit in our house. I buy the larger bags of rice (though not the 25 pounders…). I used to keep it in a gallon ziplock and that worked fine. Then I found this. Game. Changer. First off: this this is sturdy and strong. I’ve accidentally dropped this thing full of rice and it did not pop open like I would have expected. It stayed sealed and did not break! Second: it is super useful! 1 cup of rice is the perfect helping for our household. Being able to measure that in the handy attached measuring cup/lid is perfect. I can then use a separate measuring cup for water only then dry it and put it away without having to add any dirty dishes. Third: it is easy to handle. Despite my dropping it, it is actually easy to handle. There is a handle at the top and it had contours on the side making it easy to grip when pouring. I have small hands so if I can grip it, just about anyone can. It’s a good size, too. Any larger would make it too heavy. My only suggestion would be to make it wider and shorter. It doesn’t fit standing up in my cabinet nor will it slide in on it’s side since it is too tall/long for my cabinet. Instead, it slides into my pantry on it’s side. Which is fine - one side is flat so it does stand up on it’s side and the handle on the top makes it super easy to get in and out (I’m sure that is all by design which makes this such a great piece). I’ve gotten used to it being in the pantry, but would like the option of having it in the cabinet with the other starches.

Measuring cup is the same size as the one for my rice cooker. Perfect for storing small amounts of rice.

I really like this rice container overall. The size and shape are perfect for pantry storage, it keeps the rice fresh, and the easy-pour spout makes it super convenient to use daily. The build quality feels solid, and it fits nicely on a shelf without taking up too much space. My only issue is the included measuring cup. It’s a standard US 1-cup (240 ml) measure, which doesn’t work if you use a Korean or Japanese rice cooker. Those typically use a 180 ml cup, so the provided scoop throws off the water ratios and can affect the texture of the rice. Not a dealbreaker, I just use the correct rice cup separately, but it would be great if they included a 180 ml option or at least noted the difference. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would buy again.

My workout clothes can really stink. My wife bought me some special auxiliary detergent helper (granular) to use in addition to Tide to get the stink out. But it was up to me to find a way to store and measure out exactly a cup into each load - the paper box the stuff comes in is trash. This "rice" container holds and seals all 4 lbs perfectly. Organizes into the cabinet above easily. Doles out 1 cup at a time perfectly. And looks to last fine (really like handle on top). Do I use it for rice? No. Do I trust it implicitly now to hold 4 lbs of any non-toxic dry goods? YES

Smaller than I thought

Good amt to hold rice for son in college. The measuring cup is good as it is multi functional as cover also.

I’m using these to store a variety of goods, especially rice, flour and pasta. They work great. I particularly appreciate the pour spout and measuring cup. They seal very well against humidity. Highly recommended. I had a small issue with one order. The company was fabulous to deal with. I’ve repeated my order once and I think I’ll order again in the future.

Maybe what I received are different (i bought 2) from what other buyers got but I got are really of poor quality. One of the worst plastic products that I’ve ever bought. The lid don’t fit well, one doesn’t even sit flat on a flat surface and has a small hole! I wouldn’t have bought them if I knew how bad they were.

I purchased this container to store my dog food, what I liked about it is the fact that it seals, so the food is kept fresh. The scoop that comes with it is very handy too. Good practical purchase!!
