What are these made out of?

Plastic. I would assume some sort of ABS plastic. You get 40 of the long tees and 10 of the short ones. I've been using one box for about 8 months and have only broken (or lost) 10 of them. I play every Sunday. Soon as I get a bit low I'm certainly buying more.

Do these tees have a hole in the top?

Looking at one of them right now and yes they have a hole in the middle of the crown (where the ball is placed).
