Provides a moderate level of adjustable lumbar support that is a good option on Amazon for the Aeron classic chairs. You slip the piece into the grooves on the side of the chair and adjust it to the height you prefer. The other reviews mentioned the lumbar pad was popping out under use. To mitigate this issue, lubricate and clean the grooves as well as the C hook of the lumbar pad to allow the hook to move freely, otherwise it will eventually pop out and cause damage to the sides.

This item is not worth it. Will not stay in place and the seams are already splitting. It is supposed to have a 1 year warranty, AMAZON is of no help getting this replaced. I order through AMAZON, they should honor but I get no help.

I found a classic Aeron at a local thrift store for $25 (SCORE), but it had seen better days. Aside from being filthy, this little football support as well as the pad at the front of the seat pan were shot. I disassembled the chair and gave it a thorough deep cleaning, lubrication, and replaced these parts while reassembling. It now looked and felt pretty much like a brand new chair. Turns out my chair find was a size B though and I'm a chunky monkey so it wasn't super comfy, I guess I have more of a size C booty, or maybe I'm just not an Aeron fan. I was able to sell it on though for a considerable profit, so I can't complain! Bottom line is this seems like a good replacement part at a fair price.

Keeps falling off like the old one that was broken

For the price it is ok. Not the best quality as you can see from the picture it has already started to form a crack. I have only used it for 5 days. But it gets the job done!

It's popped out of the slots a couple of times....the original was a bit 'grippier'.

The part looks good and the chair feels better. The installation was easy and the part fit right into place. However, after about 45 days of use, the part keeps popping out of the mount. The retention mounts needs to be improved for better quality.

As others have said - it worked great for a month or so, but now it continuously pops off and doesn't offer any support. It's great for a month, but otherwise is a waste of money.

El producto muy defectuoso y de mala calidad, a la semana se instalado se empezó a romper. La pieza original que tenía la silla Aeron, duró 15 años, y esta pieza no duró ni 7 días!!!

Product is OK but it sometimes pops out from the tracks so the fit is not good. When it stays in place it works well.

After two months of usage the connection points are bending and flying away when you sit. I bought this by thinking Amazon is the seller but it is not different from the ones cheap fakes
