Product works as advertised
If your tired of struggling to get your new Glock mags disassembled for cleaning or to replace worn springs/install extended floor plates, then this tool is worth the money and time. It easily as compared to not using tool removes the stock (difficult when new) floor plates off of glock magazines. This tool isnt necessary for aftermarket floorplates. The OEM floor plates can be very stubborn and hard to remove off of new magazines. This tool works plain and simple on OEM floor plates.

Turns a very difficult task into an easy one
Quality manufactured tool. Does the job as advertised. I'm using this on the 10 rd Glock mag, which has ridges along the internal frame to limit the amount of rounds. I think due to this feature, compressing the magazine so that the notches clear the tabs on the baseplate, is nearly impossible without the tool.

Frustrated No Longer
Excellent product! I have always been frustrated by the disassembly of Glock magazines. I had my doubts when I ordered this product, but am now a believer. Tried it on a full sized magazine and couldnโt believe easy it removed the base plate. It took a little more force when I tried it on a sub compact magazine, but it still worked well. I doubt that I could have disassembled without this tool. I bought a second for a friend today.

Very well made and works correctly, but still it is a struggle to remove Glock mag baseplates.
This tool is very well made with a great finish and no sharp edges. It's well worth the money and makes the normally impossible task of removing Glock mag baseplates possible but still a royal struggle. If you really need to remove a Glock baseplate you NEED this tool. However, I recommend leaving the baseplates alone unless there's an urgent need to remove it.

A must-have for magazine disassembly!
Nearly all of my Glock mags have some sort of aftermarket baseplate or extension, but I've always hated the process of removing the factory plates (especially if they're brand new). After mangling a particularly stubborn baseplate, I finally caved and bought this tool. As soon as it arrived, I tried it on a factory baseplate as well as a Vickers Tactical extended baseplate - both of which came right off without much effort. Long story short, I can't believe I waited so long to pick one up and am glad to have it in my range bag for the future.

Not as easy as it looks the First Time
This Disassembly Tool for a Glock Magazine worked, but not without some effort. You attach this Tool to the bottom of a Glock Magazine, and like a can opener, put down and pull at the same time. The first magazine I used this tool on was not easy. I would say the first time you use this, there is a learning curve. It is not like the guys doing it on UTUBE. I am sure they are using magazines that have been opened before, older magazines, or they really know what they are doing. I would recommend taking the bottom off a older magazine for your first time using this Tool. I used it on new brand new magazines and I did not know what I was doing. When I hit the three magazine it was pretty fast, and easy to use this Tool.
