Such a cute little clock! I've gotten nice comments on it ever since I hung it on the wall. The product description is thorough: it is made of plastic, but looks like wood (I got the red one), and the size is clearly marked: so I was fully aware of what I was getting (I'm saying this because of reviews complaining of the size and material). For a relatively inexpensive clock that looks nice/cute and tells time like I need it to, I'm very pleased! Pendulum: it operates silently, and swings a bit fast; it seems to do two full sets (back, forth, back, forth) per second. I opened the back in order to install the pendulum (they note you can do that or try to snap it in through an opening, but the latter was too difficult): NOTE - I did clean/scrape off a plastic "bump" that was making it difficult to snap the pendulum on. I just carefully removed the excess plastic with a flathead screwdriver.

After doing much research looking for the perfect clock I decided on the Clockwise vintage grandfather wall clock in white. The clock arrived 3 days after I purchased it and it was in the original packaging with a picture of the clock on the outside of the box. It was well packaged between styrofoam layers. I absolutely love the look of this clock as it has at heirloom vintage look and is only 16 in tall. I ordered it in white and it has a very light dusting of gold paint over the white paint giving it a distressed look. It's not made of wood but of a quality plastic material and the pendulum is also plastic but looks like metal. What I really like is the etching on the glass that gives it that antique look. It uses one AA battery that does not come with the clock and unlike other clocks, this one is totally silent and does not make a ticking sound. In order to attach the pendulum you must remove the back of the clock which has six tiny screws so you'll need a very small Phillips screwdriver. This didn't come easy for my senior fingers but I have patience and aside from it taking some time to remove the back, install the pendulum properly, put the battery in and then replace the back of the clock wasn't difficult just time-consuming. I love watching the pendulum swing and so far it keeps perfect time. This would be a great gift for someone and it comes in several different colors and the price is very reasonable for the quality. Hopefully it will bring me many years of joy. I hope this information has been helpful for you.

This clock is made of ridiculously cheap plastic. There is no wood grain. It smells awful. It looks as though it's the same plastic as the cheap children's toys from fast food restaurants. The pendulum won't attach. If you're looking for a decent clock for cheap, this isn't it.

Yes, it's plastic, but it is 29 bucks. I love it. fits perfectly where I wanted it, and love that cute little pendlum swing it has going. It wouldn't stay on but I fixed with small piece of black tape. I like it is only sticking out from the wall 3 inches. I had a clock there that was more for a kitchen...round and boring. It comes with a little star shaped hanger which is GREAT. I would recommend it for smaller spaces.

Cheaply made. Could not get the pendulum to stay attached. It is cute but not what I wanted.

this is a pretty little clock. Good price too. Because you would be paying a lot more, most likely in hundred range, for real wood. It looks good on the wall. I love clocks. Downside. The pendulum, they could have done a better job on that one. I used black electrical tape to keep it attached. I also might add, the manufacture should put more instructions with it. Explaining what the white plastic star is actually for, a customer said it was to hang the clock on. But all in all I am satisfied.

Cheap plastic clock. AI was clearly used for the ad-should be illegal. Small like a desk clock and the pendulum doesn’t fit. It wobbles then falls. It supposed to click in but it doesn’t. It doesn’t have the correct groove for it. It’s ridiculous! Amazon was never this bad before. I’ve returned the last 3 big purchases. Same reason misleading description & poorly made.

diese Wanduhr ist wirklich nicht zu hören es hat ein schleichendes uhrwerk was der uhr den gewissen scharm gibt die Uhr ist vollkommen aus kunstoff daher auch sehr leicht bei der braunen Farbe sieht man das es kunstoff ist ,die Uhr läuft sehr genau und ich muste sie nie nachstellen schöne deko Wanduhr auch die grösse ist perfekt.
