Works well
The product worked well. I know they are thin, but be careful since in order for the threads to be durable, they are quite brittle during installation. If you use much force with t screw driver to install them you'll break them.

This item was a game changer!
I recently had to do some car repairs and one repair forced me to buy a new gear shift knob. Well, come to find out that Dodge has an “unique” gear shift knob size and therefore all of the gear shift knobs sold as “universal” would not fit my car. Found a kit that promised to have the right size adapter for 3x what I paid for the new knob. Decided to try this route first. Perfect fit!!! Screwed one of these onto the gear shift rod and then screwed the new gear shift knob straight on. Fits like it was meant to. Thank you for making a product that opens my options for interior decor items!!!

Extremely Fragile, Not Worth It
I had seen some other reviews warning that these were made of very cheap, weak metal and were fragile. They had a good rating overall, and in the Q&A it says that they are made of stainless steel (they are definitely not), so I took a chance on them. I wish I hadn't. Keeping the negative reviews in mind, I used a very light touch with a manual, hand-held screwdriver. Even being as gentle as possible and using minimal pressure, the top thread immediately broke and lodged itself part-way in. I was lucky I was able to remove it without stripping the threaded hole.

Wow, They Came Through
This is one of those really hard to find metric hardware items. I absolutely needed this item to convert an M8 threaded rod to fit into an M12 socket, and though I had to wait (I think it came from China?), it did come and is a quality machined item.
