From New York Times Best-Selling Author K. Bromberg comes the continuation of the Driven series… What happens when the one person you never expected suddenly happens to be the one you’ll fight the hardest to keep? Colton stole my heart. He wasn't supposed to, and I sure as hell didn't want him to, but he crashed into my life, ignited feelings within me that I thought had died forever, and fueled a passion that I never knew could exist. Rylee fell out of that damn storage closet and into my life. Now I don't think I'll ever be the same. She's seen glimpses of the darkness within me, and yet she's still here. Still fighting for me. She is without a doubt the saint, and I am most definitely the sinner. How is it the one thing neither of us wanted―neither of us anticipated that fateful night―has us fighting so hard to keep? He steals my breath, stops my heart, and brings me back to life again all in a split second of time. But how can I love a man who won't let me in? Who continually pushes me away to prevent me from seeing the damaged secrets in his past? My heart has fallen, but patience and forgiveness can only go so far. How can I desire a woman who unnerves me, defies me, and forces me to see that in the deep, black abyss of my soul there's someone worthy of her love? A place and person I swore I'd never be again. Her selfless heart and sexy body deserve so much more than I'll ever be capable of giving her. I know I can't be what she needs, so why can't I just let her go? We are driven by need and fueled with desire, but is that enough for us to crash into love? Review: Absolute PERFECTION!!!! - Natalie & Meagan's Rambling Review - Since trying to pick just ONE of us to read the ARC of Fueled would most likely have ended our friendship in a smack down of epic proportions, Natalie and I decided to write our review together. Hope you enjoy reading our crazy rambling as much as we enjoyed writing it. Meagan: I could not freakin' wait to get my hands on this book. The way things were left in Driven? My jaw was on the floor. Natalie: At the end of Driven not only was my jaw on the floor but my kindle was flying across the room AND my husband thought I was possessed by trucker from the amount of expletives coming out of my mouth. Meagan: So the beginning, beautiful. I LOVE that Fueled started off right where Driven ended. AND huge bonus, we get to see the scene from Colton's POV. Natalie: I loved the Colton POV of scenes. His inner dialogue of "the scene" in the beginning was so heartbreaking. His pain and the fear caused by his childhood were so evident. K. Bromberg did an amazing job at capturing his raw emotions. It's hard to even describe how one minute Colton can be totally alpha male full of sexy confidence and the next he is so utterly desperate and lost like a child. this combination of personality traits works so well for him and is what really draws you in. Meagan: Yes, I totally understand that. Everything that he went through before he was adopted definitely shaped him. I was so glad K. Bromberg decided to add Colton's POV to this novel. I think it added so much not only to the story's progression, but also to understanding Colton's character. Meagan: Okay, now Rylee. In the first book I was all Team Rylee. I mean I LOVED Colton but I felt so close to Rylee. In Fueled I was 110% Team Colton. Not gonna lie, there were a couple times I wanted someone to give Rylee a good round house kick to the noggin'. Natalie: Really? I am the total opposite. I loved how Rylee really found herself in Fueled. She stuck to her guns and refused to be the victim no matter how much it was tearing her up inside. She may not have had all of the facts, but come on, if you were in the same situation wouldn't you think the worst just like she did? Granted, she maybe shouldn't have taken so long to listen but the simple fact that she wasn't a whimpy push-over was very appealing to me. Meagan: I guess, but I think I was so frustrated with her because she knew what dealing with children from broken backgrounds was like. Why could she deal with them and not Colton? Plus, looking at things through his POV just made me want to scream at her, "He's trying!!" My heart just ached for Colton. Natalie: My heart ached for Colton just as much, but even though Colton was "trying" and Rylee's work experience should have given her more of an understanding, love does crazy things to you. The rational part of your brain doesn't always work correctly in such an intense situation. As much as Colton needed her, there comes a time when you just need to save yourself. Meagan: Well I guess we'll just agree to disagree *cough Team Colton* Natalie: Seriously? *raises eyebrows* I totally heard that. Meagan: Okay moving on. Haddie and Beckett. I want them to be my best friends. Natalie: I think a book about Haddie and Beckett together would be awesome. Just think of the witty one-liners and crazy ass sex those two could be having. The term "Aussie Kiss" . . . pure genius. Meagan: Yes, Haddie is great, and I have a bit of a crush on Beckett (wouldn't mind him getting his own book, hint, hint, nudge, nudge, Ms. Bromberg) Aussie Kiss was awesome. If Colton needs any help practicing his Australian, he can come find me Oh, and I loved Beckett and Colton's attempt at romance and poetry. "Roses are red. Lemons are sour.If you open your legs, I'll be there in an hour." Natalie: Yes! But Rylee didn't hold back either. Flirty and silly/seductive Rylee was great. The scene where they take the kids to the go-kart track was hilarious. I loved how she teased Colton. "Well, I seem to be running a little tight in the ass end. Nothing a quick lube job wouldn't fix," I toss over my shoulder as I walk back to my car, wishing I could see the reaction on his face. Natalie: What about your thoughts on the meaning of A.C.E.? Meagan: A.C.E.? So awesome!!! And all the times he guessed wrong? I love how he never gets it right, but he comes up with some great answers. Attractive, charming, and exquisite Always creating ecstasy Natalie: Oh how I would love Colton to be Always Creating Ecstasy with me *sigh* Meagan: Okay moving on now, we could discuss this book forever. Down and dirty time. Best sex scene? Natalie: The bathroom scene. Rylee is feeling a little overwhelmed when confronted with all of Colton's conquests. She's definitely not feeling sexy, but he forces her to look in the bathroom mirror at herself to see why he needs her. A very erotic moment if I do say so myself. "I want you to watch me while I take you, Rylee. I want you to watch each of us as we crash over the edge. I want you to see why this is enough for me. Why I choose you." Meagan: Yes, that's a great scene. But OMG, sex on "sex"?! Anyone who doesn't choose that is out of their mind! Natalie: Does your husband know about this car fetish? Meagan: Why do you think I liked it so much *wink* Natalie: Remind me to NEVER drive in your car. Meagan: All right, favorite scene besides the yummy sex ones? I have two; the birthday party and the silly Colton coming to Rylee's house. Natalie: I am in love with anything that comes out of Colton's mouth in reference to "voodoo pussy" or his feeling about women or should I say a certain women in particular. He just makes me giggle with lines like this: "F- women. Complicated. Temperamental. Necessary. F- me." Meagan: OMG, Voodoo P-!!!! Best line ever! Seriously K. Bromberg needs to patient that! Meagan: So that ending huh. W.O.W. !!!!! Natalie: Wow is an understatement. It was absolute PERFECTION! Meagan: The ending was unbelievable. I mean, I don't want to build it up too much, but it was just so great. The last four lines . . . I literally held my breath while I was reading them. Natalie: Agree. Okay so I'm looking over my highlights and I just love it all. Colton has so many great moments, funny, witty, charming and oh so sexy. He really has raced right past my other book boyfriends and taken the checkered flag. Too cheesy? Meagan: *rolls eyes* Yes, way too cheesy, but it's Colton so I'll excuse you if your brain is fried. Natalie: So, moment of truth. How many stars would you give to Fueled? Meagan: Uhg, so hard! Well, I wanted to throttle Rylee through a lot of the book. But Colton and the end blew me away. I'd say 4.5stars Natalie: I loved it all, it was a definite 5 star for me. Review: A HYPER-ADDICTIVE ROMANTIC THRILL RIDE - The sizzling drama continues in this second installment in K. Bromberg’s bestselling DRIVEN trilogy. Picking up right where DRIVEN left off, FUELED opens with a gut-wrenching prologue guaranteed to leave you an emotional basket case, literally gasping for breath, and the palpable aftershocks keep on coming! Bromberg doesn’t leave any stone unturned as torrid passion continues to flare between hotheaded race car driver extraordinaire Colton Donavan and his gorgeous, confounding angel of mercy Rylee Thomas. These two do not have an easy time of it in this book, as fierce stubborn pride, unrelenting desire and traitorous emotions churn relentlessly between them. There is so much angst, melodrama, passionate discord, anger and ecstasy in this book it gave me emotional whiplash! Nevertheless, each and every moment of this page-turner was positively brilliant, enthralling me in all its beautiful, brutal glory. Bottom line…I couldn’t get enough of this beloved couple. Even when they were at their worst, playing childish games to incite one another’s jealously, or lashing out at each other in knock-down-drag-out spats, I still felt their deep, burning, all-consuming love bubbling beneath the surface. It was like a constant romantic tug of war between them as one moment they brought each other to the height of smoldering passion, and the next, the depths of utter heartbreak and despair. I am riveted at how Bromberg dared to show the more volatile side of their relationship in this book, and boy, she DID not hold anything back on that front. The result? I was completely sucked into this tempestuous romance from start to finish. I had no choice, you see, because Bromberg’s intensely emotional voice and vibrant, alluring pose just sweeps you in so you feel like you’re watching the relationship play out in full-technicolor. Better than any daytime soap opera on the air today, I say! As far as heroes go… Colton Donavan is simply unrivaled in my opinion. He’s so charming and gorgeously complex, equal parts infuriating alpha male, and lost tortured soul. A cocky arrogant playboy oozing with sex appeal on the outside, broken, emotionally bereft little boy within, he’s a man of fascinating contradictions. And I loved all of him. The beautiful….the bad…the ugly. Most especially the hedonist who craves pleasure to bury the pain. And there is so much magnificent complexity at play here. Where to begin? Well, for starters, nothing makes me giddier with delight than witnessing Colton in full alpha mode as he flashes his trademark megawatt smirk, rasps naughty words in the throes of lovemaking, lays on the smarmy charm and simply takes what’s his. And, holy moly, does he have a hot temper that gets unleashed when he feels threatened! Some of my all-time favorite moments in this book actually occurred when Colton got insecure or jealous, like his whole carefully constructed world was careening out of control. For an incensed, territorial Colton sure is a sight to behold as we see him bristling with anger, emerald green eyes blazing, as he takes on that predatory stalk…emits that guttural caveman growl. But, at the same time, I also savored the sweeter side to him as well, where we saw glimpses of his innate kindness, big-hearted generosity, that aching, gentle tenderness tinged with quiet desperation. Hardly a shrinking violet, Rylee proves to be Colton’s match in every conceivable way! She has a warm, compassionate spirit, especially while doting on her boys or lavishing Colton with tender affection, but when push comes to shove, the inner lioness sure comes roaring to the surface as well! I love this fiercer side of her that emerges in his book. We see a feisty resilience, an inner strength and resolve, a pure survival instinct that is breathtaking. Rylee gives as good as she gets…and when these two headstrong, tempestuous lovers find themselves in the heat of unbridled passion….or in the midst of a jealous screaming match …it is firecrackers galore. And heaven help anyone who gets caught in the crossfire! Ultimately, FUELED proves to be an all-consuming, adrenaline-pumping, rollercoaster ride from start to finish, and just like with book 1, it ends with a jaw-dropping, doozy of a cliffhanger guaranteed to leave you with your heart in your throat, or drowning in tears (take your pick). But that’s the beauty of Bromberg’s work…and this gloriously addictive series. Even when you are left in a dazed, broken-hearted heap, the story is so riveting, so exquisitely engineered, that you can’t help but revel in each and every exquisite, pulse pounding moment.

Not perfect but....overall a 4 star trilogy
Where do I start? I haven't really read any of the positive reviews (figuring I knew that they would say) but I did read several negative ones to see what bothered people. I have to say, that naysayers should probably stop reading the genre if they are going to complain that the series was too long, they don't like cliff hangers, they don't like the similarities to FSoG....blah, blah, blah. Was it long? Yes, but very enjoyable. Were there cliff hangers? Not really! It's a trilogy...you knew these characters were the primary characters for the whole trilogy...therefore they're not going anywhere. The cliffhangers...if that's what you want to call them were predictable...other parts of the story...no so much. Is it similar to FSoG? Yes, as far as the rich, troubled bad boy and average girl part of the story is concerned. But FSoG was not the first novel with such a theme and the Driven Trilogy certainly won't be the last. Readers of this genre like that formula of story telling. Some reviewers complained about the writing. Is it perfect? No. Bromberg is an "indie" writer. She didn't have a big publishing house behind her. She relied on her own skills and probably that of friends, family and the beta reader world. This author's writing didn't contain nearly as many errors as I have seen in other books. I will say that whoever is going to do the editing...you need to have people who edit for storyline purposes and then you need people to edit for grammar, mechanics, etc. An author needs to have an "editing snob" on their list of reliable go-to people. The writing in the Driven Trilogy gets better with each novel. I will say that I did find some parts to be a little overdone or belaboring the point and I skipped past them. Now, lets talk about the story and the characters. The main characters are Colton Donovan and Rylee Thomas. He's a wealthy, troubled, bad boy race car driver who races to out run his demons and uses women..."pleasure to bury the pain." Rylee comes from a normal (whatever that means) background and works in corporate and runs a safe house for kids who have been let down by their parents and the system. The story starts out with her having a panic attack as she is locked in a closet and he is the one who "rescues" her and she falls, literally, right in to his arms and so the attraction begins. It's not very believable but the story does develop and gets better. The romance between these two is pretty hot and steamy and the author leaves no stone unturned as she describes their chemistry and how their intimacy unfolds. The writing is quite detailed...some might say graphic. I would say that the story didn't need all of that detail. I would also say that it's a cross between a "sexy romance" and an "erotic romance"...it is NOT erotica. Colton & Rylee's relationship is all peaks and valleys. And let me tell you...the valleys are deep and it's where some of the best writing of the story takes place. If you love the story, there will be times were your heart is in absolute free fall. No tears in Driven, cried once in Fueled and lots of tears in Crashed. Some parts of the story are predictable and others are not. Some Secondary Characters include: Watch out for Tawny...she has perfected "Bitch 101" for sure. If you thought Celia from the Fixed Trilogy was bad..."you ain't seen nothin' yet!" The "Boys" at The House are just endearing as can be and they are a wonderful addition to the story...something that makes it more real. Haddie is Rylee's best friend and is hilarious. Beckett is Colton's best friend and his is wise and funny. Colton's Dad, Andy, is kind and thoughtful and patient. Some of the best writing involves him. And Sledge...a character introduced in Crashed, for only one chapter. He is absolutely LOL funny and his character emerges at just the right time...to get you out of one of those deep valleys. All in all, if you liked the Fixed Trilogy, FSoG, The Book Boyfriend Trilogy by Erin Noelle, Andrea Randall's Ten Days of Perfect & Reckless Abandon, Nicole Reed's Ruining Me/Ruining You -- all contemporary romances with troubled souls -- then you will like The Driven Trilogy. To the author...job well done! You've got talent that can be honed and I expect your writing and storytelling to get even better!

I laughed, cried, raged
**Review below is for the entire Driven Trilogy. It appears in its entirety at Krista's Dust Jacket. ** Over the course of 7 days, I read the entire Driven trilogy, one book right after the other. I hadn't intended to do that. I had had Driven on my TBR for months. But, when Crashed came out to much hype and praise on many blogs I follow, I decided it was time to take the plunge. I read Driven and just couldn't stop there. This trilogy tells the epic story of Colton and Rylee. Colton is a playboy hotshot race car driver with a guarded and secret past. Rylee is a sheltered woman who, after a tragedy, remakes herself and resolves to surround herself with her work. But, her work doesn't keep her warm at night and Colton knows that. Rylee challenges him in more ways that one. He wants to break her down, but at the same time, she ends up getting under his skin like on one ever has before. But, Colton's past is a landmine of awful events that made him who he is now. His penchant for adrenaline and sex and alcohol helps dampen the memories, but the more time he spends with Rylee, the more she makes him feel stuff. And feeling things is not what Colton Donovan does. As Colton navigates his new found feelings and Rylee struggles to maintain her sense of self while falling more and more in love with him, they find new ways of living their lives to the fullest. This was such an amazingly compelling series, there was no way I could stop with just one book. I'm so glad I decided to start reading it after all three books were already out, because I don't know if would've been able to stand the wait in between installments. K. Bromberg creates the feels like WHOA. Reading the Driven trilogy was like riding the craziest roller coaster ride. For awhile things between Colton and Rylee would be good. And when they were good, ho-lee moly, were they GOOD. Initially, Colton was overbearing and overconfident. He was determined to have Rylee, and I got the impression that it started out as a project for him. But, Rylee got to him, and I loved seeing that. Colton is a passionate man, and his chemistry and connection to Rylee was atomic. It's evident from very early on that Colton went through some seriously horrible stuff as a child. Things no child should ever have to go through. He was adopted when he was 8 by a loving family, but the damage had been done. Love, to him, was a myth. Even when he felt it with Rylee, he couldn't face it. Couldn't admit it. And, Colton wrestles with this through all three books in the series. As you can imagine, this causes a great stress on his relationship with Rylee. After several stops and starts between them, Rylee finally catches on and starts using her ability to care for broken little boys to put her man back together again. The progression of Rylee's and Colton's relationship was... infuriating. LOL. I loved these books. And then I hated them. And then I loved them again. Like I said - roller coaster. It took awhile for Rylee to catch on to what was going on with Colton. It made me nuts how her answer to the hard stuff was to leave and shut him out. I hate that. I'm a communicator by nature, and I'm always in favor of more talking, less walking. These books had all manner of drama. Colton is a race car driver, so of course, there's some problems caused because of that. Rylee's charges at her home for boys have violent pasts that come back to bite. Rylee's past and the ramifications of it, as well as Colton's past need to be dealt with too. All of that, together with the normal growing pains of falling in love, make for a very volatile, passionate relationship. The trilogy is mostly told in dual POV, although you get more of Rylee's head than Colton's. Colton is pretty alpha awesome, even when he's being an ass. Rylee has a tendency to grate on the nerves, but once she figures out how to navigate the Colton-infested waters, she's pretty amazing as well. And, after I read the last word of that absolutely INCREDIBLE epilogue, I felt a bittersweet disappointment that it was all over. The ending was great, but I knew I would miss this couple. They made me laugh, rage and cry big, fat, baby tears. Please give this series a try.

Keeps getting better
Okay, Ms. Bromberg...., you succeeded again in blowing my mind with this 2nd book in your trilogy. I was not sure if it was going to be possible since I am often disappointed in the 2nd books of trilogies. So pleased that you showed me wrong. And, boy did you ever. I began reading this book from my smart phone while sitting in the ER of my local hospital awaiting news on the condition of my father-in-law (who is on the mend, by the way). All I can say is, Thank God, I was only in the beginning chapters because if I was at the 50% mark or later, I would be laying on a gurney right next to Dad, oxygen mask on, defib machine charging. Instead, I was at home while experiencing my heart racing, chest pains, and gasping for breath. I kid you NOT. At several points in the story, I had to put my IPAD down and walk away before I could continue. The connection with these characters and their story had sucked me right in. Such fantastic storytelling to be able to do that. The story picks up from the final scene of the morning of Colton's nightmare but the scene is replayed from his POV. PERFECT!!!! And, what a surprise in how that scene is ultimately played out, which sets the stage for the tumultuous ride of their relationship. I loved loved loved the alternating POV's and let me just say that I literally cracked up when Colton's inner musing says, "She must have a voodoo pussy or something". OMG, I loved this! Not only was it sooooooo Colton but it also revealed his inner struggles. Something we really didn't get a chance with in Driven. All if his POV's were so intimate and revealed another side to his fears. I didn't think of him as so much of a jerk when he could share with me the real fear and confusion behind his actions. He endeared himself to me throughout this story at the same time he pissed me off. Achieving this emotional duplicity in writing is shear brilliance. I will admit that Rylee aggravated me a bit more in this book simply because of her unwillingness to LISTEN but I completely understood her actions were based on her own fears and pain. Couples not communicating effectively is the crux of every relationship and learning this skill is a lifetime endeavor.....this reader wanted to rush this couple to HEA before they were both ready so the aggravation I felt was all my fault and no fault of the storyteller. Their story is being told in the perfect rhythm and pace. Fueled presented the next phase of their relationship in all its honesty. The ever-present steady and constant rolling emotions....from desire and lust to pain and misunderstandings and back to forgiveness and acceptance kept this reader guessing how this relationship could ever work out with these two. But, that is the purpose of great storytelling even though I had to break out the tequila. Ms. Bromberg did not disappoint in the sex scenes. She continues to write these really really well in this book. The intimacy and desire between this couple explodes from the pages with the perfect amount of detail and emotion...and just enough to satisfy without distracting from the overall story. I will admit I guessed the cliffhanger; however, I did not anticipate the scene leading up to it, which completely warmed my heart. (Nope, I can't tell ya)...just, OMG, tear-jerker... Cannot frickin' wait for the conclusion of this trilogy and appreciate that Ms. Bromberg is going to take the time necessary to give her readers what we have earned in terms of the final book, Crashed. And, to give Colton and Rylee what they deserve. Excellent writing and much improved editing earns this story a 5-star.

Should Come With Disclaimer: Fueled Causes Obsessive, Stalker-ish Behavior!
There are certain books that get under your skin. Some characters that embed themselves in your head and heart. Fueled is that book to me. The first book, Driven, lit the fire but the second book, Fueled (The Driven Trilogy), ignited an inferno that engulfed me. I've very rarely come across a second book in a series that is stronger than the one before. K. Bromberg brought her A-game to this one. Where second books usually lag or are more subdued in intensity, Fueled kicks it up ten notches. If you don't believe me about Fueled's intensity, read the first few pages. It's in your face, it's raw emotion, and it killed me to read it. Fueled begins with you as a voyeur to Colton's nightmare as he sleeps. The way K.B. wrote this scene makes you feel his fear, his shame, and his despair. I lost my head and my heart to this book and this man reading this scene. Rylee and Colton are the same yet different this time around. They are less guarded in some ways, yet more in others. Colton is still fighting his feelings for Rylee. Rylee is still fighting for Colton. The difference is that they are much more open with each other. Colton opens up more emotionally to Rylee, and Rylee accepts that Colton is giving all he is capable of. They learn to compromise, but don't worry, there is plenty of sexual tension and frustration. ;) K. Bromberg keeps you on your toes in this book. Right when you feel safe to sit back and take a breath, she pulls the chair out from under you. You think things are finally going to work out, but fate or others have it out for these two. Certain people will plant seeds of insecurity in the already insecure Rylee. Colton's past will not allow him to forget how that four letter "L" word only means pain and suffering. We get Colton's point of view in this one, and these were my favorite parts! Getting in his head was sometimes funny, sometimes hot as hell, and sometimes so emotional it was hard to read. I expected the hot and the funny, but the raw emotion he brought was not. K. Bromberg writes emotional better than she writes sex...and she writes sex like no other. Let's talk heat. I mean, come on. Colton is a walking fantasy. He is sex personified. His words, his expressions and his movements simply scream it. He doesn't disappoint you in Fueled. These scenes have actually been discussed at some length in the group K.B. created for us bloggers that read it early. That's how freaking amazing they are. I will tell you my favorite scene after you've read it, and we will compare. ;) Sex isn't what makes this book though. The story is what makes it. It is gripping and real. It's takes off and never slows down. I never knew what was going to happen next. I would laugh one minute and want to scream the next. The other characters are just as engaging as Rylee and Colton. Haddie is her usual in your face self. Beck is more prominent in this one, and I loved seeing more of him. Rylee's boys, especially Zander, are back and tug on your heartstrings even more this time around. Skank Tawny is back with even more to keep her company. This cast either helps or hurts our couple in ways you might not see coming. One more thing, and I'll let you discover the rest on your own. There is one phrase in this book that stole by breath! I literally quit breathing when I read it. Variations of it occur throughout the story, but you'll know it when you read it! It's a phrase that I am willing to bet will be ingrained in your head and heart! You know when Tom Cruise says "You complete me" in Jerry Maguire. It is just as heart grabbing as that, maybe even more. Let me know when you get to it. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to get lost for hours in a story of how much someone is willing to fight for another. How far someone will go to help another heal. <3 Tray from The Book Hookers

Reading Fueled will cause severe book hangover!
This book should come with a warning label, because it is so good that I had a serious book hangover after reading it and Driven, back to back. But, it was worth every hour of sleep that I missed! Fueled is the second book in the Driven Trilogy by K. Bromberg and is a phenomenal read. It is filled with dialogue that is often quick-witted and fun, and sometimes serious and tearful. The characters experience feelings for each other that neither want to feel. They hurt each other and love each other, and struggle to figure out how to be together without defining their feelings with audible words. A quote by Colton sums up the gist of it, "I've never had to work so hard to get something I never thought I wanted." He wants her, but doesn't know what to do with those feelings because he's never experienced them before. Rylee wants him, but struggles to accept that patience is what it will take to get him to admit his feelings for her. Fueled is one of the most swoon-worthy, sexiest books I've read. As you read, you will feel the chemistry between the two. Bromberg does an excellent job of writing their story so that the reader feels every emotion and every spark. Colton is worthy of every swoon the readers give him. He is a perfect book boyfriend. K. Bromberg writes him in a way that could persuade any girl to fall under his spell. If the texting song titles and lyrics don't get you, the texting of romantic rhymes will. For example, "He (Becks) says I need to give you the flowers and poetry variety. Here's the closest I get and the best we could come up with. Roses are red. Violets are blue. Sitting in Nashville. Thinking of you." The rhyming texts continue between the two and take a much sexier tone. It was sweet and sizzling at the same time, which is the pretty much the tone of this entire book. Favorite lines: "Don't question it, Rylee. If you obey all the rules, baby, you miss all of the fun." - Colton "We can do this the easy way or the hard way....but, have no doubt, it will be my way. You are not running this time, Rylee. Turn around." - Colton "I catch the libidinous smirk on his face as he shakes his head at me before leaning in and whispering, `Homerun.' I can't contain the laugh that bubbles up at the thought." - Rylee "You tear down walls I didn't even know I was building. You make me feel, Rylee" - Colton It took me days to figure out what to read next after this wonderful series.....four books later and I'm still swooning over Colton. My only complaint about this book is that I have to wait for the next book. I hope that it will wrap their story up in a beautiful Happily Ever After ending. Until then, I'll continue to listen to my "Driven Trilogy" playlist which has all of their songs on it, and keep on swooning over Colton Donovan.

Just keeps getting better!
I wish I had stopped to write reviews on each of these books as I finished them but truth be told, I was so captivated by the story that as soon as I finished Driven (at 3am on a work night), I immediately went to Amazon to buy Fueled, just to get to a good stopping point without a cliff hanger :) The same thing happened with Crashed after I read Fueled. I read all three books in less than 72 hours (and yes, I work a full-time job) because I just couldn't get enough of Rylee and Colton. I'm going to try to review the book with out giving anything away but I honestly don't remember which parts took place in which book since I basically read them as a continuum. From the moment I met Rylee and Colton, I couldn't help but love each of them for different reasons. I think if more women like Rylee existed in the world it would be a better place - she's vibrant, strong, independent, loving, selfless, charitable, the list goes on and on. Then Ace stumbles in and you want to hate him for his roguish, playboy ways but when you find the broken little boy hidden inside you can't help but want to hug him and beg Rylee to find a way to heal him. These characters are well so well developed it makes me wonder if they are actual friends of the author - there are just too many intimate details hidden in their psyche and I mean that in the most phenomenal way. I love the sub characters - Beckett and Haddie, because everyone needs a wingman that will be honest enough to tell you what you don't want to hear and aren't sure you can handle. I absolutely deplore Tawny but that's what makes the writing so great - I have known women like this and she is the definition of catty, manipulative, and jealous - ugh, thinking about her makes my blood boil. Each character imparts a strong reaction, compelling feelings, you either identify with them or instantly hate them and the author only furthers those connections through each book. The plot - it's heartbreaking, loving, hurtful, faithful, torturous, fantastical, amazing, crushing. It's a roller coaster but with every delicious rise, fall, twist, and turn, the reader is taken to a new level. So often books trivialize the affects of abuse, acting as though a woman can "fix" a broken man in three to four weeks, when the truth is, if it every happens, it's a slow process to heal childhood demons, it's painful, it's not graceful, and it sure as hell doesn't happen over night. If people have break throughs they can be devastating or beautiful - both of which you, as the reader, experience with Rylee and Colton both. The strength it takes for two people to fight through the turmoil of their pasts is almost suffocating but Bromberg delivered it flawlessly acknowledging the mistakes of the hero and heroine and I love that neither of them are perfect. This trilogy is so well thought out, so well developed, characters are deep, and the story is poignant. It spans roughly 12 years of time enabling the reader to see just how far all of the characters come, what they over come, and how they begin to "race". I can't say enough good things about the darkness, the light, and the "blur" I was caught up in engaging with Ry and Ace.

Colton and Rylee are everything
I’m just obsessed with this series! The first book was a cliffhanger and I pretty much threw my kindle !! Ahh the angst in this book!! This is one of my favourite series and Colton is my number 1 book husband that’s all!! Colton is everything I want in a man I just can’t get enough of his sexiness and cockiness !! Rylee is my fave heroine and she gives so much of herself to Colton and the kids at the boys home! I can’t wait to read book 3 as the chemistry between these two was hot and so raw

The book was so good and had me hooked the whole time. Once you read, you get so consumed in Ace and Ryle's life that you forget about your own. All I wish now is they just get back together soon. Also making Ace grovel was top notch Rylee.
