Absolute no-brainer, buy two of them.
I purchased two of these a few months ago to use in my workshop - I cannot possibly rave about them enough. For comparison's sake, I also own a JBL Boombox 2, which I love. The D-10 keeps up with the Boombox on volume and connectivity without effort or noticable difference. True parallels. At times, I wish the D-10 had more EQ options, but that's a very, very minor complaint. You genuinely get 95% of the sound capability, for 20% of the price. Buy two and pair them together, you get 190% of the cound, for only 40% the price of a single JBL Boombox. It's an absolute no-brainer. Build quality is high, volume is obscene for something so small, everything feels very well built, and both of my D-10's have survived a couple of tumbles already. The ability to pair both of them together for stereo sound, genuinely the most underrated feature. It absolutely changes the game with portable speakers, especially not having to download a separate app to do it. 10/10. I have not tried the microphone function, and never will. I also find the LED lights to be unnecessary and a bit tacky - but they easily turn off with the touch of a button. (Still, I wish the speaker remembered that I turned them off, so I didn't have to hit the button every time I power up. Super minor complaint; but odd that it remembers it's last volume setting between uses; but not the LED on/off state.) Literally my only complaint, and it isn't even a real complaint. Of note, I have never experienced so much bass response from a portable Bluetooth speaker, aside from my JBL Boombox, and these D-10's. Especially in an enclosed room, it's pretty damn impressive. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! After about a month of use, the end cap (which is basically a crash bumper) of one D-10 detached from the speaker and would not stay on again. Upon close examination of the snapping mechanism that attaches it, it seems that either the plastic injection molding machine failed to properly form a couple of the plastic clasps, or there may have been some damage in shipping. This end cap was loose out of the box, but I paid no real attention to it at first. I reached out to W-King's support email address to see if they would ship me a new end cap - and instead they SHIPPED ME AN ENTIRELY NEW UNIT as a replacement! They were so polite and pleasant, I almost felt bad about even bothering them with the problem! Absolute 10/10 customer service experience. The new unit is solid and I believe my original problem was a random fluke. In summary, these D-10'S give you an insane amount of bang for your buck. You can't beat the value, the quality and performance is beyond impressive, the customer service department absolutely backs what they're selling. I could not be happier. Especially for outdoor or workplace use - these things are the perfect combination of loud, long battery life, water resistant, and cheap enough that most people wouldn't lose a night's sleep over one being stolen or damaged somehow. (Compare that to $550 JBL units.) Don't just buy one, buy two. And then buy two more, because your friends are all going to ask you where you got the awesome Bluetooth speakers, and they make great birthday gifts. Genuinely everyone on my gift list is probably going to get a pair of these for Christmas.

Amazingly designed & built
This is THE BEST speaker in its class. It is built to last, has an amazing battery life, and has unbelievable sound. I decided to order two of the D-10 speakers to link them together and have twice the sound & volume. After a full night on the charger, they worked perfectly. With a microphone plugged into each speaker we are ready for karaoke parties. I had bought my 1st D-10 three years ago. I wish I had read the directions. Turns out you can adjust the microphone volume separate from the music volume. That speaker from 2022 went through hell, and had the broken plastic to prove it. We used it a lot. Finally the battery wouldn't accept a charge. Since this is a 20v 5200mAH setup, I took it apart to replace the dead cell (16800 batteries wired together). Getting it apart was impossible without breaking it. My new plan was to use all the components in my own custom build. Transfer everything into a Pelican Case or into the lid of a 60qt Yeti. Scrap the battery pack and wire a DeWalt compatible battery dock. Unfortunately the lead from the control panel to the circuit board was damaged beyond repair. I kept the speakers and radiators which are 4ohm, and might use them on a jet ski, with a Pyle Hydra 2ch. I went to Amazon and a new speaker was on sale for $92.00 (originally I paid $120.00 and was happy to pay that). No brainer to buy another one, or two this time. I'll let you know how they are running in 3 more years.

Believe the hype(even a year later)!
I wanted to upgrade from my trusty but old Jabra Solemate bt speaker. After much research including YouTube side by side comparisons I took the plunge and bought this speaker. Honestly it's beyond my expectations. I work the late shift in a very noisy microbiology laboratory and I love some thump in my music that I realized I'd been previously missing. Well this speaker is a BEAST. I bought it for $117 and it arrived a day early. I must admit it took me awhile to get used to its size and weight but it is just beyond awesome. I took it to work and within a week I've convinced two of my co-workers to buy one too. And last time I checked it was available at around $100. That is ABSURD value for this sound and performance. I am thrilled with this speaker and listen to everything from Bach to Carcass on it and it sounds amazing to me. I took a chance and must say so far this speaker has been one of the best purchases I've made in awhile. I'm sure audiophiles would point out it's shortcomings versus the ridiculously overpriced JBLs. I highly recommend anyone on the fence to take the plunge. You will NOT regret it. Trust me. Update part 2: If anything I AM EVEN MORE IMPRESSED with this speaker. I listen to it every work shift and it's just totally badass. I've literally played everything on it : From Bach. To classic rock. Metal. Thrash. MELODIC DEATH METAL. Country. Symphonic. New Age. Instrumental guitar... You name it and this thing kicks major gluteus maximus! I loved my trusty Jabra but there is a new "(W)-King" in town and I LOVE it! Everything everyone else has said holds true for me : it's got amazing battery life, I love the control layout(very 80s "boom box-y" in a good way....so there's that. It's just so awesome. Very impressive for a "budget" Bluetooth speaker. I honestly have ZERO complaints. One year update : 13 months have passed since I bought it and I still have zero complaints. I listen to this thing practically every day at work. My buddy at work dropped it accidentally a few weeks ago. One end cap popped off and the other cracked but this was a 4 or 5 foot drop onto tile floor. Amazingly it STILL works perfectly. It's a little worse-for-wear cosmetically but a few strips of black Gorilla Tape add a bit of "character" to it! I can not stress how impressive this bt speaker is. Another buddy at work sheepishly hides his "baby boomer" JBL Charge 4 when the "Big Boomer" shows up! He's honestly jealous. I do agree with everyone that only having two "EQ" options is the ONLY semi-complaint I can find with this amazing speaker. I will be a "W-King" - for-life" customer.

Big sound but with some limitations
There's an outdoor area that I go to for practicing roller skating. I wanted to get a bluetooth boom box for playing music while I was there. It just makes the experience a lot better. So I decided to get this W-King D10 and try it out. My first impression was that it exceeded my expectations on loudness and bass. This much volume and bass should not be coming from such a small device. And the quality of the audio? Above average. Not quite at the level of, say, a home theater system using full standing speakers or something. But you get a very nice sound, not flat, not muffled. It's clear. It's not quite as crisp as I would really want. But it's very good. And for the size of the device and the cost? Amazing. It's well worth the price. The size of this is very small compared to the amount of volume you get out of it. It's smaller than I expected. I think the product images make it look bigger. This is something that doesn't weigh a lot. You can easily take this anywhere. It's not like the 1980's where people had these huge boom boxes they carried on their shoulders. This would be laughed at back then, because it's so small. And yet, it might be just as loud. Now, there are some limitations. This has only two equalizer settings. One has more bass, the other more mid-range. And that's it. But I do find that's all I really need. I think that's all most people care about. The high bass setting tends to muffle the mid-range too much, though. It's fine if you have a song that showcases bass sounds, but for most everything else, I think use the other setting instead. So basically, you have one equalizer setting you'll actually use. That's all you get. And that's good enough for most people. If you're the type that wants to tweak the sound to perfection, nope. This isn't your device. This is for people who just want to play their music and not have to think about it. It's as simple as you can get, because you have no other choice. What about the analog microphone input? Well, I had a chance to try that out, because I have a karaoke machine at home that I sometimes use. I plugged in the microphone to the mic input port in the back of the W-King D10, and I was not happy with the result. It turns out there's really no way of dialing down the strong reverb/echo that's on the microphone by default. You can get another version of the W-King D10 that comes bundled with a wireless microphone, instead. And that wireless microphone has a dedicated "echo" slider on it. Aha! So only with that particular wireless microphone are you able to dial down the echo/reverb effect. Otherwise, with the plug-in microphone, it sounds like you're in a cave. It's way too much echo/reverb. I wouldn't use it at all for anything. It's totally worthless for karaoke or even public address. It's comically strong. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way of buying a wireless microphone for this. You need to buy the W-King D10 that comes bundled with the wireless microphone, instead. That is, if you care about karaoke or public address. I tried a wireless microphone that I had laying around from my karaoke machine, and it did not pair with the W-King D10. So I'm thinking you have to go to W-King and ask them to sell you one. But their web site doesn't show it as a product that they sell separately. So as far as I can tell, you can't purchase a separate wireless microphone. That means this is useless for karaoke or for public address, because the plug-in microphone has way too much echo/reverb and no way of turning it off. Now, I tried this out as a bluetooth speaker for my TV. I wanted to see if it would pass as an alternative to a home theater speaker system. Like a soundbar. To my surprise, it did exceptionally well at this. It fills the room easily with high volume sound. I have it at volume level 30%, and that's loud enough to fill a 16 foot by 16 foot room. And it's nice on the ears, so long as you don't use the bass equalizer setting. If you're looking for a decent soundbar, this is not bad! I have a cheap soundbar, and this is much better than that. The only problem is, it runs on battery. You wish you could just plug it in and have it run on main power, instead, but it doesn't work that way. So for a TV soundbar, it's not a great solution. There was just one issue when I used it as a bluetooth speaker for my TV. The lights. You can turn off the speaker lights. But you can't turn off the blinking blue LED and the three solid white LED lights. If you're like me, you turn the lights off in the room when watching your TV. It just makes for a nice theater-like experience. So having those tiny LED lights still on, it is a little annoying. You can't turn them off. The best you can do is cover them with black tape or foil. Easy enough to do, but annoying that you have to do that. Lastly, there's a W-King app that's in the Apple App Store. I installed it on my iPhone. It's free. But it only supports the W-King D20 and a few other of their higher end products. It doesn't support the D10. It won't even pair with it. So that's useless. I was hoping it would allow me to adjust the microphone input echo/reverb amount as well as the equalizer settings. It's so weird that those two features are not available in any way, shape, or form. Everyone has an app for their soundbars and other bluetooth speakers these days. Come on, W-King! Support the D10 with your app. So it lost a star in my review for the lack of that functionality. If the app worked with the D10 and allowed for those two adjustments, I would give it 5 stars. You also have the option to buy a second one of these and pair them together. So instead of 70W, you get up to 140W of sound. Not bad. I could definitely see how that would make a backyard party really boom. One is good enough, but two would be quite a loud event. I've not tried that feature, and I don't plan to buy a second one. That's a big investment for something that lacks those two basic features that I mentioned. I would probably look to more expensive, standing speakers if I was starting to really get into sound systems for backyard parties and such. I plan on using the D10 only to take with me to different places and to use for occasional, low key backyard get-togethers. This product is for someone who wants a really loud sound with good bass on the go somewhere. It's not for audiophiles who want to make adjustments to the sound or who really care about the quality of the sound. It's for people who need "good enough" sound quality as a compromise for getting it at a good price. It's not for karaoke. It's not for public address. It can be used on occasion for a home theater, but probably not as a dedicated speaker for that since it's run on battery power. It's for small or mid-sized backyard parties. It's for playing music while you workout, indoors or outdoors. Or while you're playing sports. Or tailgating. Or swimming. Or kids' birthday parties. Definitely worth the price, but with those limitations.

For the price it's an easy 5/5
I started classical training at age 5 and feel like I know a thing or two about music and sound. That said, music (and often sound) is HIGHLY subjective. Ok here's the skinny without further ado. Volume: This thing is loud. Probably not a "true" 70 watts, but as loud or louder than many comparable BT speakers (louder than an echo dot, not as loud as a JBL Boombox). [4/27/22 edit: using two of these paired together really makes them thump!]. Sound: Sound quality is better than expected for the price. I can't emphasize that enough. This thing doesn't produce audiophile quality sound, but I would rate it good to very good overall and certainly excellent for it's price point (again not a JBL or Bose, but better than something like Pyle or equivalent). If you're looking for house-shaking bass then spend 4x on the JBL otherwise you'll be disappointed, but the bass should certainly be more than adequate for most. The built-in EQ is basically more of a bass boost on/off than a true EQ (defaults to on). I've found that with a few small tweaks to the EQ built in with YouTube music I can make it sound very respectable. Again excellent performance from a portable BT speaker with limits on speaker size. Battery: It's huge. Just an absolute unit that should easily last many hours even at full volume! That said, it does take quite a while to fully charge (~6hrs). [Edit: Ran for >14hrs at ~80% volume and still had >25% battery remaining] Construction/materials: It's plastic (obviously) but definitely doesn't feel cheap. I probably wouldn't throw it down the stairs, but I imagine it will have no trouble holding up to normal wear and tear including being outdoors (not in the rain). Ok bottom line time. For what it costs it's an easy 5/5! Edit as of 4/27/22 (pairing with second speaker): I was able to try out the pairing/stereo feature (link with another W-king speaker). This feature is awesome! The pairing worked exceptionally well and there was no noticeable lag between the two speakers. Basically you pair the speakers together first, with one as the primary. Then you connect your device as the source for the primary. Surprisingly very simple to set up with no issues getting the pairing to work (reconnecting was also tested and was equally easy and successful). The one very, VERY small downside is the somewhat limited range on the secondary speaker. While no impact to the range between the source and primary speaker, there is only about a ~25ft max range between the paired speakers.

Best small Bluetooth speaker
Best small radio i ever owned and the battery last all day at 50 percent volume. Also it has good bass from the speakers. This is better than JBL.

Great speaker, good customer service, super loud with bass!
This thing rocks! I've only ever had smaller BT speakers before, but I needed something for use at music festivals that could really punch through with bass. This thing is so loud! It honestly in many ways competes with my home stereo when I am home and using it. Outside, its usually louder than I even need. The features are actually really cool, having an aux jack for using with no latency for things like connecting to a projector to watch a movie. The mic jack I haven't used much, but cool that it could be used for karaoke or just as a PA. I haven't tried the SD card slot, but I bet it would be useful when you don't want to have to connect your phone to it. I think the limitation there is you can only navigate from one song to the next. No shuffle option, no folder navigation, so great for a playlist but its more or less a CD player at that point. The battery seems to last forever. However, I do have one complaint. This is advertised as IPX6 rated, which means it should be able to take high powered jets of water for several minutes. I took it kayaking though, and it got a little splashed (but not submerged) and it ended up dying on me. This happened 1 day after the return period expired. I contacted the company, and after a couple weeks of emailing back and forth and sending some videos of the device, the company did end up sending me a replacement, which was delivered quickly. Overall I am satisfied with the customer service, and very happy to have a working speaker again. I would just caution anyone using this in over or near water to maybe put it in a dry bag first.

Performs as advertised!
Lots of clear sound and power. Stop wasting time with cheap $25 speakers. This was the only thing I found that could mimic the sound quality and power of my Braven 805 speaker AND accept a line-level input so I could duplicate my TV output. It's considerably larger than many, yes. But overall, much more rugged and weather proof. Size reference picture attached.😊✌️

Bra batteritid

A Beast Of A Speaker, Great Value!
I purchased this Bluetooth speaker here on Amazon after browsing several. I was looking for a decent quality speaker, loud, great bass, & sturdy, & this speaker ticked all my boxes, with some enticing benefits, such as it being waterproof, portable, & also providing power-bank capability. I also read a number of reviews, which on the whole, were pretty good. This arrived speedily, which was great, & was both well packaged & well presented. I like the build of this speaker, as it’s not too bulky, yet it’s very solid & sturdy. It’s easy to charge with a C usb cable, which is included, & it’s charge time is pretty good. It holds its charge well, & has 42hr playback time. The speaker power is 70w, which is ample, with great bass & volume, & I’ve not even had it on at full volume(!), but at full volume this speaker would do well for house parties, garden parties, taking to the beach, etc, & it’s worth noting that this speaker can also pair up with another of the same, ‘if’ required. But for standard use, this speaker is more than enough in the volume & bass sound department! It has an amp socket on the back, which allows a microphone to be plugged in, & it also has a usb socket, which features as a power bank, & so on-the-go, or just outside, this can charge devices. It’s easy to pair via Bluetooth, & easy to operate, with large, sturdy, rubber buttons along the top, & the bonus has to be its flashing led lights to its front, which change colour, & beat along to the tempo of the music. All in all a great speaker all round, & at a great price too! I purchased this with a £25 off offer, so this made it less than £100, which in comparison to a number of others, for this price, the quality, it’s durability, portability, & it’s sound quality, I’d say that this is well worth its price, & not a bad price to pay considering what you get with this speaker. I’m very happy with my purchase, & would deffo highly recommend. I hope this review has been somewhat helpful, x
