TPM2.0 Module LPC 20Pin Module with Infineon SLB9665 for Gigabyte Motherboard Compatible with GC-TPM2.0

Purchased for Gigabyte AB-350 Gaming 3 Motherboard. Needing TPM2.0 and Secure Boot for some newer games and Windows 11, I was needing either a new Motherboard or a module like this one. My motherboard is pretty old so I wasn't sure if this would work or not. Easy to install, just make sure it's the right direction so you don't break a pin. Had to disable and enable some stuff in the Bios but it was a pretty straightforward and simple process. Happy this worked and I wasn't forced to buy a new mobo and completely rebuild my pc.

Gigabyte H97M-D3H motherboard, 4790K Processor. Yes, I had to update the BIOS to F8e (not publicly available). Plugged in. After changing BIOS settings, immediately recognized by windows, TPM version 2.0. Had to use AOMEI partition master to switch from MBR to GPT file table. Did registry entry to allow windows 11 install. Works flawlessly, even though the processor isn't on the "Approved list". In short, for $21.44 and some research, my ten-year-old computer (which I built) got a new lease on life, saving a lot of money.

This works great. I plugged into the port on the motherboard and no setting needed. I was able to install Windows 11 from a flash drive.

Worked perfectly on a Gigabyte X99 Gaming Ultra v1.0 to install Windows 11. Before installing this TPM 2.0 module (and thereafter changing the BIOS settings to 2.0), I couldn't get windows 11 to install without trying iffy workarounds. With this, no workaround was needed. I have an Intel I7-6950X processor with the X99 board, and it has a lot of life left, and despite it not being supposed to be compatible with Windows11, after the module was installed it worked too with no fuss. $25 bucks gave this computer a new lease on life with Windows 11 thanks to this TPM 2.0 module.

Plugged right into an older Gigabyte board so I could force a Windows 11 upgrade. No problems after several weeks.

My Gigabyte motherboard has TPM ability and I have enabled it so Windows sees it but, without the TPM module, you don't get full TPM. So I just searched for and selected a TPM that supposedly works with Gigabyte and bought this one. Plugged it in, rebooted, checked the BIOS, made sure it was seen and enabled and Windows found it right away. While I am not using anything requiring TPM just yet, I wanted to make sure I had it for when I upgrade to Windows 11 in the near future and this was the answer. I don't see any issues with it so far. No errors have appeared, Windows Event Viewer does not have any complaints about it and everything else seems to be functioning normally. If you have a TPM header on your Gigabyte motherboard but no TPM module, this should do the trick for you without any problems.

I installed this TPM 2.0 module on a GIgabyte Z97x Gaming 7 motherboard with an Intel i7 4790K processor. The module was not initially recognized by the motherboard. In order to recognize the TPM module I needed to contact Gigabyte and open up an eTicket. Gigabyte responded within 36 hours and gave me a link to a beta BIOS -- the F9C bios which is not formally released. However, after installing this bios the TPM module was recognized. A couple of bios gyrations later, where I disabled CSM and reinstalled the secure boot factory key defaults, I was able to confirm the presence of TPM 2.0 on this old legacy system as well as secure boot. This was definitely not "plug and play" however that was not expected. The module works, PC health check now reports that the only thing missing for Win 11, as expected, is a non-supported processor the venerable 4790K. All in all, both NewHail and Gigabyte get 5 stars for a good product and excellent product support.

Arrived intact and sealed, plugged into gigabyte b450 motherboard, bios recognized immediately. Works as it should.

Works great with the Z170-HD3 motherboard. This module allowed me to install Windows 11 on a system with a 6700k CPU, with Windows Security showing ‘Enhanced Hardware Security’ following install.
