Great for showering after eye surgery.
These worked great for my after-eye surgery showers & shampoos! They were easy to apply and the seal was strong so no water came through 👍🏻 Fair price and arrived quickly.

It worked well with some preparation
Before purchasing the item, I was somewhat concerned about hearing that the shield didn't stick to one's face. I figured out why it could happen. The below is what I did to compensate for not sticking to a face. (1) Cleaned my forehead above eye blouse, with alcohol to remove body oil. (2) After drying, placed the mask onto above eye blouse. (3) Place a 1,5-inch blue tape used for house wall painting, over both upper and side edges of the shield. (4) I shampooed and the shield was stayed stuck firmly onto my face 100%. In fact, I could use it again for my next shower. A probable reason for the shield not staying on one's face, could most likely be due to body oil on one's face. I highly recommend this for those who had cataract surgery done. T

They do my work don’t buy
Not a fan. I wear them in the shower to keep the water and soap off my fake eyelashes. They DO NOT STICK on sides. Once wet they come off. 😢

Work great with minor adaptation!
I have dry eyes and can't get any water in my eyes or even over my eyelids or eyelashes. I've tried goggles but even expensive ones do not last. I decided to give these a try and was pleasantly surprised! After reading reviews before using them for the first time, I decided to add medical paper tape over them after I cleaned my forehead. It worked perfectly!! Much better than expensive goggles and for the price, I am totally pleased.

Great face cover
Had eye surgery, this mask covers face to prevent water from surgical area. Adhesive strip sticks well but could be wider. This is a great product.

Adhesive is not strong. Use tape to secure top of mask.
I like the concept of The Shield, but when I've used it twice now, there was a gap right in the middle when the adhesive let loose, immediately. I know, now, to use medical tape at the top rim of the mask to secure it before showering or washing my hair. I mainly needed it for 2 reasons: to keep water out of my eye because of having eye surgery, recently, & to shield the heart monitor I had to use for 1 month, attached right above my heart area, to limit water from getting to it as much as possible, so mot to damage it in any way. Both shields let loose w/o any tape used on them, right after I started using them. Water came down right in the middle where the adhesive came undone from my skin. They are useful, I found, but only when using a medical type tape to seal them on the top rim, which I happened to have, at the time. I hope this review helps!

Better than expected
After recent cataract surgery trying to shower / shampoo my hair I purchased disposable eye patches. The patch helped keep shampoo and soap out of my eye, but the patch was drenched after showering. I purchased the Shower Face Eye shields and wow! Not a drop of water touched my eye and I had clear vision throughout my shower. The adhesive held throughout and so lightweight! Cannot say enough about how well this shield worked. I will be able to color my hair now without worrying any chemicals may affect my eye(s). These shields should be included in cataract post-op surgery kits. I just purchased another for a friend with upcoming cataract surgery.
