I recently volunteered to be the Onsite Communications Manager for a large festival of arts and crafts in Central PA. We have 6 Samcom FPCN10A radios, and 15 FPCN30As. The radios get pretty rough handling during events and 3 of them stopped working for various reasons. I have to say, they are great radios, and Samcom customer service is even better. They have worked with me to get all the radios back up and going and have been helpful and responsive every step of the way! I really could not ask them to do more than they have to make sure our nonprofit organization has what we need, without having to cut into our limited budget. And more than that, they are just excellent sturdy, clear, radios, with fantastic range. My wife and I own a pair of radios from a well-known competing brand, but we just bought a pair of FPCN30As for ourselves because we like them so well, and trust Samcom to make sure they keep working for us. We like to have them for convoying, camping, hiking and it is just nice to have our own at the event. The Samcom radios are obviously clearer and have a much better range. I will note a 'repair' to get one of our down radios working, that was necessary which is quick and easy. Apparently Samcom needed to change their radio frequencies, so new radios won't automatically work with older radios, but it's a very easy quick fix. I will be doing it with our new personal pair right away, so we can use them at the festival while doing our volunteer shifts :), and it is easy to switch them back when needed. 1.Power off first; 2.Press and hold the monitor button to turn on the radio, when you hear the beep, the switch is complete. ** if you want to change back to the factory condition frequency, just do the above actions again .

These Walkie Talkie Radios are great, they work very well. I am happy with them. I have bought 2 sets from SAMCOM and the people at SAMCOM are extremely friendly and helpful. When one of my radio packages arrived it was missing a charge and a plug. I got a hold of Amazon which they were able to help me get in touch with SAMCOM and SAMCOM replied back to me within 24 hours. I told them about the missing items, uploaded a couple of pics as proof and they got right on it. They sent the missing items right out to me and even sent a extra gift along with the charger and plug, that was super nice of them. I do appreciate it. I definitely recommend them and their products, they even told me about a few other perks that I didn't even know about that comes with their products as well. If you are in the market to purchase Walkie Talkies/2-Way Radios then SAMCOM is by far the way to go. Great radio. I programmed it to match our company radios (which are crap). Speaker is clear and range is satisfactory. I work in a large warehouse with a lot of inventory blocking the signal but it still pushes through. 4 stars for two reasons...... 1. I had to disable every security feature on my laptop in order for the programming file to download and install. I had to also purchase the Samcom special USB cable in order to program the radio. You would think it would be included with the radio. Programming the radio was very easy. 2. No "C" charging port. Must use the charger base always.

I've used various two-way radios over the years like motorola. Many two-way radios on the market today are pretty much all alike and clones of each other, but SAMCOM radio attracted my attention at beginning is the distinctive functions and appearance. So I want to have a try . First , The call distance feels good. I did a test at a distance of 1 km and it was still ok, and I feel that it can be used at longer distances. Because this is 5 watts of power, I tried it briefly in the underground garage, and the signal was also very strong. Second ,it is great in long-lasting battery life, I took a look at this battery and found that it has enough weight. After turning it on for a few days, I found that there is still enough power.It's a good choice to bring it to camping in the wild The one feature I am excited about the most in using this radio is the ease of contacting any of other radios, even though everyone else is using different channels. The group button on these radios automatically sends out your voice to others no matter what channel they are using. This is very different from others. It is very simple to use. In addition, this walkie-talkie can write frequency so that I can interoperate with other walkie-talkies of other brands. The only bad thing is that other walkie-talkies do not have this special GROUP function. Then I will try more time . If there is no problem, I may buy extra sets of SAMCOM FPCN30A ..

These wouldn’t even work a mile away. Made sure in the same channel and checked to make sure they worked bed we put some distance between us and didn’t work even just outside our neighborhood. Definitely returning them.

Ordered 6 of these radios and they were perfect for our agricultural needs. The PTT on one radio failed, we contacted the company.....no questions asked, they sent us a new radio. Very satisfied with the quality of the radios and their customer service.
