Tortoise Diet, Large Pellet Food, Land Turtle Formula, 3.5 lbs.

I’ve been using Fluker’s Tortoise Diet for a while now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best tortoise foods on the market. I have a California desert tortoise who is over 30 years old, and he absolutely loves these pellets. They’re not just a treat for him—they’re a staple in his diet. Here’s how I serve them: I start by filling up a cup with water and sprinkling some pellets into it. I let them soak for a few minutes so they get nice and soft. Once they’re fully softened, I pour them over a bed of fresh lettuce. The pellets absorb the water and become mushy, making it super easy for my tortoise to bite and chew. They blend right in with his greens and he devours them happily! This method works great especially for older tortoises or any tortoise that might have trouble with harder foods. The texture becomes perfect—soft, moist, and easy to eat. Plus, the variety of colors and ingredients in the formula seem to keep him engaged and interested every time. I had to get these for my sulcatta because the small ones were out of stock, and these were cheaper, but after giving them to him I think they’re going to be his new favorite, because he absolutely shoveled them up, and looked at me afterwards like he wanted more. They’re much better than the small ones too, because I don’t have to give him as many, and if he dumps them in his substrate it’s easier to retrieve them than tiny pellets are. Plus they last longer too because they’re bigger, and not as many are needed. One handful is enough. Highly recommend these for owners with larger tortoises

What a great value in tortoise food. Gone are my days of the expense stuff in the pet shops. My tortoises liked the Fluker's Tortoise Diet 3.5 lbs so much they said go buy another 3.5 lbs. I didn’t do the subscription because when winter comes, they hibernate for 6-7 months. In summary, great tortoise food value and I have a family of happy tortoises.

Great supplement but my sulcatas don't always want it

We have 2 outdoor penned box turtles, one of which is over 50 years old. The other is a rescue that is at least 15 years old. This Flukers food is the only food supplement we give them (in addition to actual fruits, vegetables, and proteins like chicken), plus whatever worms and whatnot they can find. Anyway, the turtles love this food. We just put some pellets on a small plate, add some water for it to soften and fluff up, and the turtles will go to town when we feed them. And seriously though, I don't know actually how long we have been feeding them Flukers, but it has been many many years. At minimum, we can say it isn't harmful, provides any supplements and nourishment they need, and the turtles love it.

Im not sure what has changed but as of 8 months ago each bucket i ordered is just a bucket full of very thin nuggets that wont soften w water and the turtles wont eat it actually they cant eat it. Like rocks. This new bucket i got is half and half. Its not cheap and i will be asking for a refund for this one also. They use to be great and fat little nuggets that would soften up nice and soft for them to eat. What happened w you guys ?? Too much quantity and the quality suffered. Its too bad !!!

Got these for our sulcatas Timmy and he loves them, soon as he smells them he munches them down! Flucker is an amazing brand for reptiles! I highly recommend them!! Their foods are super nutritional for each individual species and it’s easy to use, just grab what your tortoise will eat put it on its plate or around their enclosure area. These particular pieces are for larger tortoises but they have smaller sizes

Tortoise loves it. This will last him a bit until I order more. Huge container. Great value as it is $14 local in pet stores for a 2 cup container. He is eating better. I sprinkle it on his greens daily and spray pellets with his vitamins and supplements.

Not accepted by turtles even wet

Eventually arrived first parcel got lost in post but second one was sent and arrived very expensive but I had no other option as my tortoise 🐢 is 23 years old and this is only ones she likes but they will last her six months when she’s away before she hibernating for the winter months

This is good as a treat, my tort like the colours but I feed Mazuri and Hikari as main pellets to accompany her fresh greens.

Tortoise eats it but pieces are a bit big, I cut them up and all is good
