96303 Bowl Swab, White

This works very well on low-flow toilets, which I had found brushes did not fit into as well as they did older toilets. What I like about this versus a swab I bought that is more cotton mop-like (but also cleans very well) is that this dries very quickly and the mop-like one stayed damp indefinitely. I actually have two of these and use the other one on the bathtub. Have not had this long enough to be sure how long it will last but it was very inexpensive and isn't required to last forever.

In the house I bought, the toilet has a deep rim like I have never seen before. I was never able to get a brush up there to get it clean. I would squeeze the blue type cleaners under this very deep rim and hope for the best. This swab conformed itself to get way under the rim and I was shocked to see what was under there for so long. I almost wanted to throw away the swab and order another one but it rinsed out clean. It does a great job without flecks of toilet water hitting you in the face. When the time comes, I will order more.

These are great! They clean the bowl and especially under the rim very effectively with no danger of scratching. These are replacing many previous bowl brushes in our home, all of which quickly rusted and looked terrible. After use, just hold the wet head over the bowl and gently tap the handle on the bowl edge to shake off excess water. I then put the seat down over the handle to hold it in place until the head can air dry and be stored away. They fit easily into short decorative stoneware vases I got for storage purposes and keep on the floor behind the toilets.

MUCH better than a brush. As long as you do not let the toilet get so dirty that you have to scrub HARD, it takes very little time to simply swab it out with this. The swab covers more surface area than a brush so it is a faster process.

Love this toilet brush. It's lightweight and easy to use. Best feature is that when you're done cleaning you can swish it around in the clean toilet water (flush, swish, flush, swish) and then with two shakes above the toilet water it's almost nearly dry. I then also take it over to my tub and thoroughly rinse it there as well. I bought a hook to hang it off the back of my toilet. The only drawback is that the material it's made of means stuff can get stuck in it (i.e. my tub was dusty and the dust wouldn't rinse out of the brush). Fortunately this has yet to happen with waste; I would not like to have to get my hands dirty--literally.

PROS: o Works better than a stiff bristle brush IMHO o Cleans more completely and quickly than a brush CONS: o HOLDS *WAY* TOO MUCH WATER FOR MY LIKING This was something I bought for work, when the old toilet mop that i inherited when I took the job wore out. Unfortunately, this thing is much more poofy and fluffy than the previous mop, and it is VERY difficult and messy to shake out enough water after use to be able to put it into the brush caddy. Another reviewer had a similar observation, and recommended a unisan mop which I fully intend to order. This thing went into the trash after attempting to "make do" with it for a couple of days. Not that it didn't do what it was supposed to, just that I could NOT deal with all of the water that it retained.

This swab does a much better job of cleaning a toilet bowl than a stiff brush will do. You don't have to use expensive toilet bowl cleaners with it. I use a little laundry soap and bleach and spread it over all the surfaces with the swab. The synthetic fibers of the swab will last forever. I keep one in each bathroom, and I keep one in the kitchen for the place that I can't reach on my cabinet top.

I bought three. One has been in use as a toilet cleaner for over a year with no sign of it deteriorating. I am wondering if the bad reviews are due to the cleaner they are using? I use Bleach based popular brands and commercial Crew clean with no issues. The second brush is for when I clean and disinfect the litter box. The third is for cleaning and disinfecting trash cans. These swabs work excellently on all kinds of nasty cleaning jobs and dry quickly.
