I read some say it was too thick but mine fit perfectly. 2004 5.3Ls also known as an lm7.

Perfect fit on LM7. Be mindful that GMs torque specs for countersunk retainer screws are 11 ft/lbs as opposed to the 18 ft/lbs for the old, non countersunk version.
