Hands down the best itchy scalp relief I have found. It's an instant cooling sensation with instant relief. It's smells wonderful and refreshing as well.

This stuff WORKS! I had itchy scalp every time after I washed my hair. No dandruff. Just itchy scalp. It would itch until my hair was dry. It was driving me crazy. I set an appointment to see a dermatologist but having Kaiser insurance appointment was weeks out. So I tried this. I applied it after work about 7pm and I put a lot on, ensuring to cover every single bit of my scalp. I put a silk cap on to sleep in the next morning, zero itching. Zero. Nothing at all! The product does have a minty scent that, if you use as much as I did, will smell light-medium in strength. I would recommend, you can return if it doesn’t work for you, so it’s worth a try for sure.

This scalp treatment gives an icy-hot sensation that stops itching immediately — exactly what my scalp needed. I have folliculitis related to perimenopause, so while it won’t make it go away completely, it significantly improves the symptoms and makes them much more manageable. I’ve been using it: • After a shower before bed for overnight relief • On curly hair days when the texture hides the slight residue it leaves If you have straight hair, keep in mind the minimal residue can make it look oily faster, so bedtime use works best. This product does a fabulous job of relieving scalp itch. It truly works …..though it is not a cure. It gave me real relief while I sought medical attention for a severe and recurring problem.

This treatment really works! I started getting dandruff in my mid 40's, when I had a job that most of the time had a fair amount of stress. When I left that job after 17 years, the condition was gone after 2 weeks. I attributed it to the stress. Ten months later I started working again, more stress, the giant flakes came back. I have tried many different treatments, over the counter as well as prescription. Some would help for a short while and some made it worse. I am 68 years old now. A few months ago I was looking on Amazon to see what was available there. I came across DERMA E. After reading many of the reviews and it's ingredients, and the fact that it isn't oil based caught my attention. I then purchased a couple ounces thinking, "how long can one ounce last?". Finally !! Something that's making a difference! I have found that If I use it every other day throughout the week, it is most effective. (I am bald on top of my head.) That ounce of treatment lasts up to 2 weeks for me. At $12.00 an ounce, that works for me!! From having a blizzard of giant flakes on my shoulders every morning to almost ZERO flakes! That's exciting!! Will it cure it? I don't know. I will say this, it looks like we are headed that direction. Thank you DERMA E, I wish I had you 20 years ago!

This gave me immediate relief and a nice cooling sensation, which helped with the itchiness. However, it didn’t provide all-day relief and I had to reapply often. It also left behind dry flakes that were different from my usual dandruff, so it was hard to tell if the product was helping or causing it. While it helped with itching, it didn’t improve the dandruff for me. I tried using it overnight, as a pre-wash, and after showers, but it just wasn’t quite for me. Also worth noting—it’s not an oil. If anything I felt like my scalp was dryer after using it.

I color my hair to an icy white, which means lots of bleaching and toning and the process ends up irritating my scalp. This product is great after bleaching and helps relieve the dryness, irritation, and itchiness that lots of processing can cause. I love the tingly and cooling sensation this treatment creates!

I have tried a number of scalp treatments and I've hated them all because they left my fine hair greasy. I'm on my second bottle of this product and it does not leave any grease residue at all. It goes on wet, but after your hair dries you wouldn't even notice that you have it on. I just get a couple of quarter-sized itchy spots on my scalp in the winter when the air is dry, and this product provides excellent short-term relief for me -- within minutes of applying it the itchiness disappears. However, it does not provide any long-term or lasting relief. The itchiness always comes back the next day. So if you're looking for something to give quick relief from itchiness, then this product would be a good choice for you. It may not be your best choice if you're looking for a product to remove the itchiness altogether long-term.

Only thing I have found that reduces my dandruff.

My scalp was seriously burnt from bleaching and I used this one bottle in like a week and half, but it worked, my scalp was refreshed, soothed and healed very quickly. Good stuff
