Great Value, But Time Will Tell
I needed a pair of Y-type safety caps in a pinch, so instead of waiting for the usual sources, I bought these. The C values test fine, and the two that I tested with 300-V AC didn't explode -- which is good -- but I'm still a bit leery of using them in old, expensive test equipment because they're simply an "unknown quantity." These could be excellent or horrible over time, I just can't know. The "safest" thing to do is to NOT use them, but I probably will. I'm in a Kobayashi Maru test for sure... :)
