NP-F Battery Adapter Plate

I was looking for external battery power for my Blackmagic 6kG2 video camera. Professionals almost all recommend a V-mount system, but they're expensive. Besides, I have a couple of NP-F570 batteries to hand as spares - the problem being that I need something to last over an hour (and 570's just won't quite do it). This mount does the job. I've since bought a couple of NP-F970 batteries that, using this adapter plate, allow me almost a full day's use.I could have got the cheaper version but this one also serves as an extra charger.

Le produit est de bonne qualité en métal.J’ai mis une npf 970 dessus et branché via le câble Sony fourni avec pour mon LUMIX s5ii.Fonctionne parfaitement.Je recommande.

Ich habe mir dieses Teil erworben, da gerade die R5C einen extrem hohen Stromverbrauch hat und mit den Original Akkus von Canon leider nur ca. 45 min reicht.Dieser Adapter paßt sehr gut an die Smallrig Käfige und mit einem kurzen Kabel kann man dann die NP-F Akkus anbringen und über USB-C die Kamera versorgen. Pro Akku wird somit die Laufzeit der R5C auf etwa das 2,5 fache erhöht. Durch diesen externen Akku wird man auch in die Lage versetzt hier RAW Videos in 8K mit einer Framrate von 60 fps aufzunehmen.Ebenfalls wird die Ladekapazität des Akkus angezeigt, womit man frühzeitig weiß, wann der Akku in die neige geht und kann diesen dann bequem wechseln, da der interne Akku in der Zeit die Kamera versorgt.Allerdings sollte man natürlich beachten, dass durch den USB-C Anschluss die Wetterfestigkeit der Kamera nicht mehr besteht und ich würde dies nicht bei strömenden Regen empfehlen. Wer macht hier aber dann auch Videoaufnahmen?

Perfect if you like me have a lot of Sony L-series 7.2V batteries and sometimes have use for 12v. These batteries are both common and cheap compared to others that deliver 12V. Big + for delivering power both via usb C and 5.5mm DC-outlet.

This NP-F Pro Adapter plate is a good one. Now we can use any NP-F battery for olmost anything on the camera rig wich obviously have many benefits. I can now use my monitor and use my camera with one battery and next to that power my phone or something else using the included type C usb.One thing I want to mention is that on my battery plate it said the output 12V and 7.4V and not the 8V wich said on specifications. Olso important to mention u have to hold the red button for 3 seconds to power the battery befor using it and another 3 seconds to save the battery when not in use. Thats it.I recomend this battery plate if you are looking for a multisask your NP-F battery. Use this battery plate from Smallrig.
