Do these feel more like the target plates bowls and cups, or are they more like the hard plastic of a School lunch tray?

I gave them as a gift,so I never took them out the package.

Anything toxic in it?

Not that I can find bute quality is poor. One plate melted in the! dmicrowave and they do stain. I would think glass or pottery would be safer. Disappointed.

Are the cups ok for hot beverage like coffee?

Yes, they work fine for hot liquids.

What is the warranty on this product?

I do not know but the product does not live up to its decription. It burned in the microwave where I had to throw out the plat and it does stain.
