Alpha Hydrox Aha Swipes, 24 Count

I have only has these for two days and I can already see a difference. The melasma on my forehead has lightened with only two uses. The pores on my nose look smaller, and some tiny blackheads up on my forehead and chin that I have been fighting with for months came out easily. I hope long term use will help with some fine lines and rough skin patches. I generally have really good skin, I am 40 and don't have many lines but just recently developed some this past two years due to stress I think. The pores on my nose and chin have gotten huge but I think these pads will help. They are super wet, the review that said they were dry must have gotten a "bad batch" or something. I took the advise of a few of these reviewers and cut them in half. Half does the job for me. I will check back in a few weeks to let you know if there are bigger results. I also got the toner, souffle, and the silk lotion with spf.It's been quite a while, sorry for the late update. These pads are excellent. But beware, you do need to avoid sun exposure and make sure you are wearing at least a 15 spf when stepping out. my face got soooo pale. Like nuclear sallow pale, I glow in the dark, lol!!! But my melasma has faded to almost nothing. My pores are much smaller, and some of the fine lines on my forehead are completely gone! My skin is so soft my hubby can't stop touching it. My daughter has been using this on her arms because she has keratosis (i think thats what the doc said!) she has too much keratin blocking her hair follicles on her arms so she gets little pimple looking bumps, and it has helped! So I will remain faithful to this product, I'll just lay off it for a while and start again in may be a few weeks.

I have been using Alpha Hydrox products for years and halve always been pleased with their products and affordability. Recently I decided to try a higher concentration product than the usual 10% or 12% I've been using and these were an excellent choice.I started using these swipes on a couple problem spots 2 months ago, every other day and I can tell you that there is a difference you can see and feel. The treated skin is much softer, smoother, and less blemished. My skin reacts differently to products, sometimes I'm extremely sensitive to things and other times I get no reaction at all. These have only the tiniest bit of a stinging sensation to me and most of the time I don't notice anything at all. This may not hold true for people with very sensitive skin but I feel there is an excellent balance here between strength and results.I do wish that there were more than 24 pads in the container as they run out quickly but I've been pleased with how far each swipe goes. With the results I've had so far I will continue to use this product as part of my regimen.

I'm closing in on 50 years old. I have pretty good skin, take very good care of it. Have occasional Botox (prefer Dysport lately tho - just seems a bit more effective, but Botox is definitely awesome as well) - I get these injections maybe once or twice a year max because they're very costly. Anyway, love the AHA 14% swipes. I can FEEL the product working, so I know it's helping. This, along with my DIY Vitamin C (on face, neck & hands twice daily) and also the Alpha Hydrox AHA Souffle 12% are so helpful getting my skin to look a little more youthful and "glowy". I can't use both Alpha Hydrox products twice daily yet - it's pretty strong (but GREAT product!) especially the 24 count Swipes @ 14%.I would suggest working your way up to the 14% swipes. Get your skin used to glycolic acid products first, and some other high-end, fairly strong products (they don't have to be expensive - especially when you're doing your homework using the Amazon reviews - tons of useful info here).I highly recommend these swipes. To make them last longer, I use just one side per application, then place the swipe back in the jar, with the used side up. This way I get twice the use and it works perfectly! Excellent product(s)!

I bought these based on a recommendation from a friend. When I began reading the reviews, I knew I would try them. I've only been using the swipes for a couple of weeks, only on my nose and chin. I already feel like my pores are becoming less visible.As mentioned in other reviews, the pads are fully saturated with solution, which totally makes it possible to use half a pad each time, which makes the jar last twice as long! Bonus!!I'm happy to add this product to my skin care routine. I'll try to remember to update when I've been using it longer, but I was so excited to already be seeing some results, I wanted to share.Also, I have fairly sensitive skin. I was concerned that this product would dry out my skin. Not the case. I don't see any difference in dryness at all, just less visible pores!

recently ordered & rec'd alpha hydrox swipes. Have used this product previously; HOWEVER this was NOT SEALED. All previous purchases of this product regardless of where I purchased have been sealed. I am hesitant to use this on my face because of not having product seal.I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE MY PREVIOUS REVIEW. IN ALL FAIRNESS I LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND HAVE ORDERED IT MANY TIMES BEFORE FROM ANOTHER VENDOR. I HAD BEEN UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THE PRODUCT HAD A SEAL ON THE CONTAINER. HOWEVER, I WAS TOTALLY WRONG.....IN PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT FROM ANOTHER VENDOR, THE ITEM WAS NOT SEALED. THEREFORE, I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE MY REVIEW OF THIS VENDOR. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AWESOME...VERY FAST AND EFFICIENT. IT WAS TOTALLY MY FAULT FOR BEING UNDER THE WRONG IMPRESSION. THEREFORE, I RATE THIS VENDOR 4 THUMBS UP!!

Ok I'm going to review these as I use them so I'm starting at three stars which will either go up or down as I use the product.A bit of background info on me:Age: 27Gender: FemaleBackground: Black (fair skinned).Type of acne: I have no idea. I don't consider myself as having acne prone skin but this year (Jan) I turned vegetarian and broke out. I don't know if it's connected although it has happened before when I went veggie. The kind of spots I have are mainly blocked pores, so basically tiny bumps that look as though they have neither a white or black head, but when pressed gunk will come out. Though not always as there sometimes is no opening for the stuff to come out! Also, if left alone, they eventually become inflamed, become big and red before dying out and turning into a brown spot.In the meantime, while I'm trying to work out what I may be lacking to cause this breakout, I'm looking for ways to get rid of it. Having read reviews, my main fear was burning my skin off. Today I did the patch test and felt only a slight tingling. Did a larger patch test and again, only tingling. Swabbed my whole face with a pad and left it on for ten minutes and still no burning , thank god. But I could feel something, a bit like a tea tree product. I know people have different skin types so ALWAYS do a patch test. I've washed it off now with lukewarm water and have drawn the curtains! lol The reason for this is that I've tried it during the day.Although I have an spf face cream I don't want to put it on just yet. The spf cream needs to be put on though because your face becomes sensitive to the sun which can cause brown spots to appear quicker or simply give you sunburn.Because of this, I'll be keeping this a night time or indoor routine.

It's a great AHA product that really does it job. Perfect for someone like me who was looking for stronger AHA concentrations without having to pay a lot. I use it 2 times a week (along with a daily BHA) and my skin texture has significantly improved and is a LOT smoother to the touch. Also love to use it for the KP on my arms! To cut it short: nice well-working product at a great price. Love it.

Tried a lot of diff brands recently, these are the cheapest, actually state the percentage of AHA and the pads have a relly good weave to lift the dead skin also. will def buy again. :)

Ordered these for the 2nd time really like the range of products they produce they are a good price and effective at exfoliating the skin and keeping fine lines at bay.
