Separates and Makes Oily Mess
My issue with this grease is that it separates in the grease gun, meaning it gives off a pretty good quantity of oil after sitting a while. Every time I pick up the gun to use, red oil pours out around the spring rod and goes all over. Several tablespoons. I’ve gotten it all over my clothes and stained the concrete in my driveway. It’s a major mess. Greasing is no fun and is messy to begin with. Don’t need to make it worse than it already is. And it’s not my guns - they are high quality US-made guns. Based on other reviews I’d seen, I switched to Valvoline full synthetic grease, which others said solved the problem. So far, so good. I will not be buying Shell Gadus again.
