Omron Hem-fl31-b 9-inch to 17-inch Easy-wrap Comfit Cuff, Large

I bought this cuff to replace one just like it. I have had the old one for at least five years and the Velcro has finally almost worn out. This new cuff fits exactly the same, works great, Velcro is strong, and the connection between the plug on the blood pressure cuff cord and my machine fits perfectly. I highly recommend.

This model cuff is so much easier to get on your arm than the ones with the metal bar. Perfect for seniors or others with hand or arm mobility issues. Couldn’t find it in store - even specialty pharmacies - but found it on Amazon.

This cuff has no D-ring, and won't bite into your arm. Omron had an even more comfortable cuff with nice lining, which I can't find anymore. Also this FL31-B cuff does not use the connector you need for the FL31 cuff that came with Omron machines for many years. WARNING: many pictures show the old FL31 (A) cuff instead of the FL31-B cuff! They have different model numbers silk-screened on the cuff, easily seen in the pictures. As far as I can see, you can't get the old FL31 cuff with A style connector from Amazon (or almost anywhere). You will have to buy a set of adapters (pick the one that fits from the 10 odd they send you) and replace the one that comes with this cuff using your one of those (or salvage the one from your original old cuff). The hose diameter is also slightly different than what came a few years ago, but that may not affect things very much if at all. There are actually three sizes of cuffs. The seldom seen "up to 21 cm (8 1/4 in)" is almost always too small (except for kids/teenagers). Likewise the "large" (not this "large" like the item title says) is actually 44 cm minimum, and is also fairly rare. So if you thing you need an adult cuff this one will probably fit unless your arm is very flabby or muscle bound.

The cuff works well, and calling the company for detailed instructions in how to use it is wise.

Actually replacing the other one like this we had purchased many years ago. They last a long time, fit comfortably around our arms and are easy to install and use
