Excellent bees took to them straight away

I read that the canes used in bee houses can eventually harbour mites that can harm bee larva. So I bought these tubes to replace the canes in my two bee houses each year, once the bees have 'hatched'. So I actually will not get to use these until next spring. They appear well made and the tubes are of the correct size, not too small or big. Length wise I may have to cut them to get them to fit.

These are great for red Mason bees or similar, but don't leave them out after the end of July, they start to go mildew with the damp air and will be no good for next season

These tubes are excellent. I bought them to replace last years tubes. As you can see, the bees approved. There are well worth buying.

Le api gradiscono queste cannucce al pari dei bambú, e l'anno prossimo saranno più semplici da sostituire. A prima vista possono sembrare piccole ma invece sono perfette. Ricordatevi di tappare il fondo. Personalmente ho pressato dentro dei pezzetti di carta tipo Scottex cucina con l'aiuto di una matita.
