air flow - will the 120 be enough air flow for a garage foundation vent?

This mesh is extremely fine, but being mesh, air can pass through but not much else. We used it as draining cover for a custom bird feeder that would allow nothing but air or water to pass through. It works great except that its so fine that dirt and silt can clog it. I'd liken this mesh to metal cheesecloth.

How do you hold it in place on metal door?

Hello, you can try to paste a thick layer of double-sided adhesive tape around the filter screen, and then stick it on the metal door. This is just my suggestion, you need to try to know whether it is feasible. Thank you!

Can you broil food on it in oven at 500F?

Should be able to. It need a border around the outside.
