There’s some risk in buying furniture in kit form, especially if there are a lot of pieces, but this assembly went smoothly for me. The only instructions are a single-page exploded view, but if you start at the bottom as they say, assembly is pretty straightforward and obvious. Parts are well-machined; all the holes lined up. Another reviewer complained that four small included screws aren’t shown on the diagram. This is true, but by deduction you can tell these self-threading wood screws go in the four holes in the bottom of the base pieces, where they screw directly into the two wooden connecting rods after you’ve glued and inserted them. This attaches the rods more securely than with glue alone. Assembled stand is suitably sturdy, looks decent. The price is too high, but that’s true of everything now.

While probably not necessary, I decided to add a bit of wood glue to bottom dowels and top hanger piece. It was easy to assemble, and gets very sturdy once put together tightly with the supplied materials and tighten up the hardware. The separate tiers are great for separating out different items and are part of what makes it more rigid and strong. Room underneath to put shoes. Good quality and nice finish on the wood (I got walnut stain). Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend if interested in something like this.

It's lovely and helpful for my husband's habit of leaving pants everywhere in our bedroom. It's easy to put together by oneself. It is, however, a bit wobbly. I wouldn't lean all my weight on it, but it easily holds at least 4-6 pairs of canvas/jeans with belts. It's a great product for the purpose I bought it for, but it's not the absolute sturdy old fashioned pieces that are made of solid wood and cost your first born.

We are very happy with the assembled product, it is well-finished, sturdy and perfectly sized to do the job. It really looks like we had paid twice as much so it is a great value for the money. However be aware that it's not IKEA-simple to assemble. It's still not difficult at all but glue is involved so it takes a little more time to assemble and maybe 24 hours of waiting before you can use it. The results are definitely worth the extra effort and time though!

I really liked the hanger for suits and shirts. Excellent quality. We received the package quickly and assembled it in 15 minutes. It is very stable and does not wobble. I'm glad I bought this hanger.

As with most of my Amazon products I’ve purchased once again this product has done it for us!!! Beautiful quality and texture. Simple but definitely what we were looking for. Not too bulky and not too fancy but definitely elegant.

I purchased this last year and wanted to do a follow up review. This item has lasted very well with everyday use by a male family. This family member places heavy items of clothing on this valet and it holds it. This is very durable and keeps clothing off the floor when used correctly. I recommend this product highly.

Easily assembled. Wood glue is involved, though. So let it set. Four stars due to an incorrect product description. The materials listed is wood, however; it is partially metal. That would have been good to know.

Takes 20 minutes to assemble and looks good. I’m satisfied.

A great addition to my closet area for hanging clothes that have been worn once, and will be worn again before washing. The only flaw is that the top bar is supposed to be glued on, but once it’s glued, it’s no longer possible to disassemble or even tighten the lower supports. I have no idea why these seem to be marketed exclusively to men, works great for me!

I was looking for something to put my clothes on when going to bed. This valet is far better than a chair because you can put more stuff on it and have easy access to what's on it.
