It isn't too short but it's cut lower than it looks in photo. It also runs snug, so if you want it slightly loose, get larger size. I gave mine away-- not right fit for me.

I don’t know if the white is see through as I got a black one. Mine does not seem to be thin. I do think it ran a little small. I wear a small and it still fit, but was a little more snug than I had thought. Hope that helps.

Mine were soft to start with and washed well. 100% cotton wears so much better than polyester modal etc.
