if you need a sata m2 drive this could be right up your alley
This drive was to replace a os drive in a laptop that only supports sata m2 drives. Did a clone of the os drive to it. Seemed to be very speedy on that. once installed the system recognized it immediately as the os drive and booted with no problems. The 106gb drive in the laptop just was not living up to everything now a days and I needed more space. being a ssd there is no noise from it and the storage capacity while not the largest for what I needed was likely more than enough and the price was a good deal. Never heard of the brand before but seems to be working great we will see how it handles long term.

Met my Mini-PC's form-factor requirements, works like a champ!
When the generic SSD hard drive in my BMAX mini-PC failed I knew I needed to replace it and reinstall Windows 11 immediately. That meant getting a new drive FAST. I needed traditional SATA (not NVMe), the 2280 form-factor, and "B+M" (dual-notch) keying. I highly recommend you physically examine your SSD "stick" before ordering, because there are a lot of variations! Timetec was one of the few vendors offering this spec with overnight delivery. After reading good reviews, I pulled the trigger. While I was waiting, I used the Windows Media Creation tool to make an installable USB stick. The Timetec drive installed with ease and was recognized by the BIOS. Since I used a USB 3 stick (and port) the Windows 11 install went fast. Since the install, my new Timetec SSD has performed flawlessly, booting fast and running all my apps at warp speed! Highly recommended.

Good option at this price point...
I have an older HP SFF desktop that I can't seem to part with, kind of like family now :) The existing M.2 SSD was failing, kept getting the blue screen of death and after troubleshooting, found SSD going bad. Bought the Timetec 512GB SSD as replacement based on reviews and price. Used CloneZilla to make copy of old SSD while still alive and cloned my Windows 10 setup to the Timetec 512GB SSD. Write time was pretty good during the cloning process. Doing a benchmark test on the Timetec 512GB SSD, the results were not bad, but my older HP desktop could be issue with speed - hard to say. Botton line, good SSD and would recommend.

Easy, Cool‑Running 512GB M.2 Upgrade
It works like a quick, lightweight upgrade that drops into the system with almost no effort. The M.2 2280 SATA format makes installation simple, and once it’s in, the 512GB capacity gives plenty of room for apps, files, and everyday storage without feeling cramped. Despite being slim and light, it stays cool under normal workloads thanks to its efficient 3D NAND design, so there’s no noticeable heat buildup even during longer transfers. The broad compatibility with Windows and Linux means it fits easily into older laptops or desktops, and the 550/500MB/s speeds make the whole machine feel more responsive.

Good quality/great value.
Perfect. Just what I needed to upgrade the storage on an older Dell Latitude 3189. Popped it in, used a USB recovery boot to get everything on there, and it was up and running in no time at all. Fits like it should. Runs like it should. Seems reasonably well made. An all around good item. Highly recommended. BOTTOM LINE: Works great. No issues at all. Good quality at a budget price.

SSD failed after 1.5 years, but support replaced it no questions asked
Timetec will be my first choice for inexpensive storage/RAM from now on. I purchased this SATA SSD because i was looking for something inexpensive/low capacity to run in my RPI for Homeassistant OS. Installed this shortly after purchasing it in September of 2023. It worked without issue until a couple weeks ago when i experienced storage failure. I attempted to re-install the OS, but was unable to. Based on experience it looked to me like the SSD had gone into read only mode, which is common with flash storage failure. I emailed support since it was within the 3 year warranty they offer and they promptly provided me with a shipping label to return the failed SSD. After receipt, they had my replacement shipped out that same day and when it arrived i was up and running again (was able to restore from the most recent backup no issues). Is it ideal that the SSD failed? No. However, my RPI is running 24/7 and has data being pretty much constantly written to it, so i am not all that surprised. Support was fantastic (shout out to Mark) and they replaced my drive no questions asked. I will definitely be purchasing more products from Timetec in the future.

Ecco i risultati concreti.

I've recently bought this Timetec 64GB SSD and ordered a belkin ssd enclosure with it. Upon receiving the item, I quickly plopped the SSD into the enclosure and connected it through my computer. The advertised speed is 550MB/s and sure enough, it is on and close to that read/write speed. The SSD hasn't failed me in my tasks and effectively copies/pastes my files to my computer from the drive and vice versa. I also installed Medicat, a tool to manage/backup various windows laptops and computers, and it works without a hitch! The boot-up is smooth and the applications load/run quickly & efficiently.
