I have a 2.5 gallons per minute (GPM) shower system, does the filter reduce the gpm rating on my shower head?

We receive a mixed response from customers. About half say they don't notice any difference with the pressure, and about half say they see a small decrease in pressure. A small percentage said there was a big drop in pressure, and I've even had a few people claim that the shower filter increased their water pressure. (I'm not sure why that would happen.)
