Its a very dense read. Its well written and brings up very interesting points that are rather catching. Its easy to follow just long and dense.

I have many books by Tim Pat Coogan and this one about the IRA does not disappoint. I have a cousin who lives in Ireland and says Coogan is one of the tops in his field writing about Irish history.

Bought for my son. He is enjoying, but says so detailed that the minutia threatens to overcome.

This badly needs to be updated before I will buy it.

Purchased this for my brother. He's now read it 3 times. He gives this 5 stars!

Very informative and 100% unbiased in either direction!
