what are the dimensions for the bottom plate that sits on the desk?

The base plate is 8 inches Wide x 9 inches deep.The upper platform is 10 inches deep x 12 inches wide. Holds my 14" Dell very stable. As you can see in the picture I am using it as space saver. working out of a cramped RV. Hope that helps.

What are the dimensions of the top surface the computer will sit upon? I need to ensure it will fit between my two existing monitors already in place.

The dimensions are 11 11/16 wide by 9 11/16 deep. Works great and very happy with this product.
