Just what I needed for a bottom vent on my uds build

Easy temp adjustments.
Works great. I like the fact that it has a sliding perforated door and a sliding solid door so you can fine tune your cooking temps. Works great with my ChefsTemp Breezo Fan. I made a drum smoker and it fit great. Drilled 4 holes and mounted with the stainless hardware that was supplied. It also has a nice gasket around the edges forming a good seal. Great design. Great addition to my UDS
I’d been using flexible magnets to control the airflow but I wanted something a bit more consistent for tracking what opening leads to what temp. This fit perfect on my 55 gal drum and it was super easy to install. I secured it with rivets instead of the included bolts.

It works
I was used to this type intake on my Akorn. It worked similarly as well on my UDS build. Minute adjustments make a huge difference and when closed it snuffs out the fire quickly. Satisfied.
