While I like it, it did not meet my needs or expectations. It is for my kitchen; it is for my naps. So, I need it to ring much louder than it does, and I wish the numbers on the face of the timer did not fade away while in use; when, during a nap, I rouse a bit, I like to look over and see how many minutes I have left for my nap.

I almost sent this back because I couldn't get it to move faster than 1 second at a time to set the timer. No instructions. I tried and tried. I put it in the box to return it. The day I was going to do it, I took it out and tried one more time. I accidentally pushed the start/stop button in the right sequence and turned the dial and it moved through the numbers so fast it was amazing. It works great! It's loud enough I can hear it in another room. I've had no problems with it. I'm glad I gave it one more try.

It works pretty well. I like that it's magnetic, turn to set. Sometimes it does not stop turning the time more slowly if you originally turned it quickly, so if I need 6 and a half minutes, by turning it more quickly to go to 6, it will then keep changing the minutes, rather than the seconds, even if I slow down the turning. Other issue is that to start it, it makes a beep, which I would prefer it wouldn't. I only need the beeping at the end. But, otherwise it works pretty well and does its job in my classroom.
