RUST-OLEUM 330494 Quart Universal Bonding Primer, white

I wanted to paint some metal on an outside structure and wanted to make sure I got top level coverage and protection so I wanted looked for a powerful primer product. This Rustoleum Bonding Primer performed extremely well in all regards. It was super easy to apply after preparing the surface. It held to the brush well to minimize drips and flowed on to the surface smoothly with excellent coverage. A single coat is all that is necessary but I chose a second coat. Just me. This primer leaves a surface that readily grips the topcoat of finish paint and helps create a complete coverage that encapsulates the metal and thereby protecting for many years of exposure. I am a big fan of this and other Rustoleum products. If used as directed I have never been disappointed in the results and that applies double for this product.

We used this product to help the paint adhere to the metal lockers that we were updating. It only took a small amount ant worked great as a bonding primer. We will be refurbishing more project in the near future. This product will be used again.

I used it as a primer on kiln treated flower pots. So far there has been no problems. Great product. The only one that I have found with such adhesion. My next effort will be to use it on formica before painting.

The product is superb but the service by Amazon is lousy. I ordered and used the first quart; used it up and then reordered. Got a message from Amazon that the order was cancelled. I go to the product listing and it states that 19 cans are available, yet my order was cancelled. What gives Amazon? Don't promise what you do not want to deliver!

I used this product on PVC, metal, and stucco and it worked great. Only time will tell if the adhesion lasts years. Also, I like that I was able to apply a topcoat in one hour.
