Works great is your gap is larger than 1/4"

I had to replace the weather strip on my slider. The first product I bought came apart the first time I opened the slider. This product is easy to install, stopped the cold air from coming in, and has remained durable and not moved since it was installed.

Used it to block the draft coming through our sliding glass door. We installed a doggy door which then prevents the weather stripping between the two glass pieces from sealing properly allowing the winter cold air coming through the door. Installed one on the inner side of the outside glass door and a piece on the outer side of the inside glass door. Its not a 100% seal, but cut the draft down tremendously and doesn't squeak like the rubber flat we installed previously.

Does what I needed it to do, stop bug's ,seal door . love it.

I'll update this later to see how it holds up. Primary issue is the specifications. Product says it's 0.2in high and 3/8in wide, but you never know with these listings what they consider the heighth and width dimensions so you often rely on the pictures. Well, the picture is wrong. It has the measurements swapped. I made it work in my project, but would've preferred what was shown in picture. Please fix this for others. If not, when I update I will reduce to 1 star for fraudulent advertising.

For starters, I didn't use this for a "traditional" application. I have a pocket door leading into my bathroom that slides into a non-enclosed internal wall space so interior wall/building air tends to readily pass through the gaps around the door (and bring musty drywall scents--among others--along the way). So...I used this product to close the gaps as best I could. It creates a bit more resistance when pulling out and pushing back the door, but that's a small tradeoff given the reduced air flow/smells. The first strip I used was a nightmare to install. Mostly because I was peeling the backing off and then trying to apply it in a hard to reach space. Based on the same, my advice for pretty much any application is to only peel a small bit to apply the strip to the beginning of your intended application surface, put the next 6 inches or so exactly where you want the strip to be and hold it in place with your other hand/fingers, and THEN pull the backing strip for that placed section to adhere it. Continue doing this in the same way to significantly ease installation issues. Hope this helps!

It works well but was a bit thick for some of our doors.

Fantastic product! Sticks beautifully and really works. I live in a very draughty house and putting this around internal doors has stopped the draughts completely. I had had to get a thinner one for a small part as it’s too thick to allow the door to shut properly. But I am happy to buy from this company again. It also works well to help keep doors shut that don’t close properly. I just wish there was a better choice in white, but I am not compalinin

Great value, quality product and easy to install. I have two four glass panel patio doors. Double screen doors that slide and meet in the middle. The screens were tight on the bottom and the top with a slight gap in the middle. The weather strip pushed perfectly into the screen door. If the edge of the strip wants to stick on one side get the strip started into the screen. Then push the strip into the screen and pull the white tape off bit by bit as you push the strip inside the screen frame. I applied the strip to both screens and they fit perfectly with just a little bit of strip touching each other when closed.
