Well built, make adding lights a breeze
This harness is great for the smaller wattage rated LED lights. It's a shorter harness and is more of a light duty type for use with two 18w-27w LED lights. I used this harness for the windshield hinge lights on each side of my jeep. I didn't need a long heavy wire harness for this area. The lights are so close to the power source and switch placement. This harness was very easy to install for the application it was used. I couldn't build one as fast or what this cost. As with most of these pre-made harnesses, if you have problems with the switch or don't like it, it's very easy to replace the switch with one that suits your needs

My Smart Fortwo did not come with fog/driving lights from the factory. Dealership wanted an arm and leg to have these added. Activation required having them programmed into the car as well. A bit of online research for parts and aftermarket lighting instructions and i was closer to having the lights become reality! This harness made it happen! Quality seems solid and no issues were encountered! Happy to say that a few months later, the harness is still functioning!

Decent wire harness
This is a good wiring harness. I didn't get a diagram with my order but I just printed the picture of the one off here. It's pretty straight forward to install. Believe me I'm no electrician in any way. I had plenty of wire length to hook up the LED foglights I installed on my SUV. The switch is ok. It's not a fancy toggle switch and the light staying on all the time kinda sucks. But it is nice because you know when the system is on and off. As far as I can tell it doesn't really drain the battery, but winter is coming so we'll have to wait and see. But, for the price this was worth it. Trying to wire the lights yourself would cost more than this.

Time saver, just buy it
Wish I would have found this a long time ago. Ive been making my own harnesses for years and its not hard but it does get to be a pain in the rear. This showed up on my door step and I honestly wasn't expecting much, I thought there would be tool marks all over it and the switch would be trash but man was I WRONG. Every thing comes wire loomed so theres no mess in the engine bay, all the ends have heat shrink on them and over all it feel's like something OEM. A few people have griped a little about the red led on the switch and I don't find it to be all that bright. (If it bothers you a little creativity with some black paint could help you) another tip with the switch is if you decide to use the double sided tape make sure you prep the area your sticking it too with a little rubbing alcohol on a rag first. It sticks very well to a clean surface and not at all to a greasy armor alled one. I had plenty of length from the leads to the light and through the firewall to the switch. Which brings me to my only suggestion for improvement and that is I wish the lead to the battery were a little longer. I ended up adding about 2 feet to the battery positive lead. Not a big deal at all though. Great kit ill be buying these from now on when I'm wiring auxiliary lighting! I used this to wire a single row 31" led light bar.

This harness has some "features" you should be aware of.
I used this with a small (9") light bar, and it works well. The harness length was clearly intended for a large vehicle, and would work great for full-size trucks. I had to shorten and modify both the switch wiring, and the leads to the light bar to work in my compact sedan. My biggest gripe is the wiring harness connector(3-pin) between the harness for the switch, and the harness to the relay. In order to get this harness through the firewall, you would either have to de-pin one of the harness connectors, cut one of the harnesses, or be stuck drilling a 1" diameter hole through the firewall to get the harness through. Also, the wiring on the switch side is very small(think Cat5), and the wiring on the other side of the connector is a much larger gauge. This made connecting them without the aforementioned connector...interesting. Outside of that, the harness overall seems to be well made, but the relay is incredibly loud when you turn on the lights. I installed the relay in the engine compartment, near the battery, and I can hear it click from inside the car with the windows rolled up, and the engine running.

Simple easy great price
Wiring kit works as it's supposed to no big issues aside from the on of switch. The adhesive is basically pointless stayed on for less the 5 seconds. Not a big deal for me I have a switch I'm going to just hook it up to on my dash. But other then that works great very easy straight forward to install. Plug and play set up. Cord length is perfect actually have more than enough. Would recommend.

No Instructions!!!
Overall, the quality of the harness appears to be good....although I have not yet mounted it....the reason I am so long in getting it installed is because there are no instructions included....and it has taken me a few days of roaming the web to find a wiring diagram that made any sense. I am using it to install running lights on a Honda VTX1300C motorcycle. I needed to know the identity of the legs on the Relay because I need to wire a trigger from my bike's headlights so the lights will go off when I crank the bike. This relay does not have the terminals identified....I finally found a diagram of another "universal harness" that is the same as this Kawell which showed me that the long white wire goes to the switch and thus can also be wired as the trigger wire.... Including a set of decent instructions or at least a web link that contained such is not asking too much!! FYI, although I have only tested the following instruction and have not installed the harness, it appears that the long white wire goes to the switch and/or used as the trigger wire, the red to the battery, the short black to ground, the long cable with white and black wires to the lights.... I have read that if the red hot wire is not connected to a switched "+" wire or terminal the small light on the switch stay on all of the time and will run your battery down....so I am not sure how I will hook that up....

Good basic wiring loom
Well made, mostly well thought out. Usable length somewhere under 8 feet.Keep this in mind when determining where light is going to be in relation to power source. Switch is to be mounted by self adhesive tape already on back of switch. Switch size is rather small, that can be good or bad.

A real nice kit, made wiring up my ditch lights a snap, took me literally 15 minutes to finish. Connections are solid and the wiring nicely insulated, would buy again for my next set of lights.

My order came fast , install was easy with the wiring harness I ordered also although it would be short if it was installed on a truck , mine is a Chev van . The only thing I would recommend the manufacturer would use is Allen Head bolts on the angle adjusters , the regular bolts are very difficult to access with a wrench or socket once the units are mounted . Otherwise , nice and bright , I ordered these with the amber removable covers for light options. I left out one star for the adjuster bolts .

Great ready-built harness!
Very nice harness, very high quality! Solid connections with tough wire wrap over entire harness. Harness will provide power even with ignition off. I removed wires from relay switch on/off circuit & replaced with leads from my ignition for power only when machine is running. Overall great harness that I'll definitely buy again!

Wiring was too short which meant I had to add another couple of feet. Not terrible issue. Had to cut connector to pull through firewall. That was a pain.
