The bottle does not say "organic" on it anywhere, but Amazon's description sates that it is. How can this be??

The bottle says, "fat free, no sugar added, 100% pure, cholesterol free, no preservatives, no yeast, corn, wheat, gluten, soy, dairy, fish, artificial colors, or artificial flavors", but it doesnot state that it's a concentrate from organic black cherries.

In answer to your question "how long does it last?"... it depends on how often you use it. I make a gallon of juice around every two days, using approx. 1/4 cup of the concentrate, filtered water and 3 "squirts" of liquid stevia. My last bottle lasted 2 MONTHS. You may have to shake it before using it because sediment does seem to occur the longer you keep it (in the refrigerator, of course).

Is this brand concentrate, meanning very thick no water added ?

It is quite thick in consistency, and it does suggest mixing with water or other liquids. This concentrate has a nice cherry flavor that is not too overpowering and can be taken as is. Hope this answers your question.

Is black Cherry juice considered tart cherry juice? I do not believe it is

Black Cherry juice and Tart Cherry juice are from different types of cherries. Although, they may provide a similar benefit.

Gout savior!

I had gout for over five years before I found out about the black cherry juice concentrate. I got off my gout medication and began taking a glass daily in the morning. It's been four years and not even a flare up. It helps my digestion and inflammation issues also. Love it!

Great taste

So I bought this under a suspicion that I may have had gout coming on. I know from previously running a whole food store that black cherry extract is very effective for this and I have helped many others get rid of their gout by making a suggestion to use it. I personally have never had to. I can't speak to the effectiveness from my own experience as I've only been taking it for 3 days. I will say that the pain in my big toe has subsided. But as mentioned I honestly don't know if it was gout. I don't suspect it was as I don't eat a lot of meat, But I wanted to be proactive and get on trying to fix the problem if I was wrong. I'm really not a fan of cherry but this stuff actually tasted pretty good and I found myself looking forward to it every night. One unexpected perk that I forgot about is that cherries do contain melatonin. I did find myself growing tired earlier in the evening and going to bed earlier. I wouldn't say early, As I'm extremely nocturnal. But I was going to sleep at a reasonable, "normalish" hour. The only complaint that I have is that it arrived with the lid broken. This is a bit frustrating to me as I stay in an RV full time. I had expected this to be able to seal completely with no issues of spilling as we move around. We haven't moved yet but I'm not feeling real confident with it sitting in the fridge or on the counter now as we travel. Overall I am satisfied and I do highly recommend this decent tasting product to anyone that might be struggling with gout or need a little bit of an extra push at night for sleep from something natural.

I have been using Black Cherry Juice Concentrate for years to help control my gout. I drink 2 oz in a glass of water daily. It has been over 10 years ago that in stopped the prescribed med to control my gout. I am sold on it.
