My son(7) has been struggling with nasal congestion (probably due to unknown allergies) pretty much since birth almost every night for 7 years! Doctors have prescribed nasal decongestant recently and it only sometimes helped and I didn't want to give it everyday. He complained about tummy aches too (most likely due to bloating caused by poor digestion of certain fibers). I didn't believe in supplements or alternative medicine, until not long ago I had to start doing some research about how to boost my immune system for myself as I got sick way too often. So glad I came across with reliable information about the possible benefits of probiotics! I chose this brand for the kids and myself because it might be more effective due to the slow release design, presence of B. Infantis (good for bloating), and prebiotics (food for probiotics). Shortly after taking this, my son's nasal congestion has disappeared (except a couple of night when he had a mild cold)! I noticed that because I have been sleeping through the night without hearing him struggling with breathing and having to get up to give him nasal decongestant. Also he hasn't complained a stomachache as well. He is recovering from a stomach flu (bad one as he had a high fever) but the whole illness only lasted for 1.5 days! I've noticed his colds are getting much milder. I would not claim this would keep you illness-free but would definitely shorten the duration for certain illnesses. My son is an anxious and sensitive boy and had trouble swallowing in the beginning because it's an all new experience. I didn't want to switch brand to sweeter chewables. Instead I suggested him to bite it once or twice until it's small enough for him to swallow with water. After about 2 weeks of practicing, he became much more comfortable with it and told me proudly one day that he swallowed the whole thing without biting! My daughter (4) is a very picky eater and is still chewing without complaints (lucky me) and I let her be until she's ready to swallow.

I bought this to see if it helps with my 2 year olds allergies (eczema & wet cough). It may take some time so I will update as we go. My 7 year old doesn’t like the flavor so she just swallows the pearls whole. My 2 year old doesn’t mind it and chews them up. The first week of my two year old taking these, he seemed mildly constipated. He was having one hard small BM per day and some days he didn’t have one at all. Then after about a week, his BM’s regulated and he has been going once or twice daily with normal consistency/size BMs. This is also in conjunction with beginning chiropractics which could have aided his regularity. Before this probiotic he was having very loose BMs one day and hard or normal BMs the next. Sometimes, both in one day. I’m hoping to see some improvement in his skin and respiratory allergies in a month or two.

I fully recommend this product. My child developed several GI issues when he was 18 months. The GI doctors off coursed diagnosed him with acid re flux and put him on a PPI (anti acid med). The meds didn't seem to work, my child continued not eating well, had very low appetite, had constipation, and was gaining any weight. He had trouble sleeping through the nights, developed toe nail fungus, and the list goes on. As a desperate mom after doing so much researching on my own I came across information on unbalanced gut flora. And, I realized that all the antibiotics he had taken for his many ear infections early in life had destroyed the balance of good and bad bacteria in his stomach and digestive track. I needed to get some probiotics ASAP but what kind? I started out with another high rated "Perfect Biotics", his problems improved rapidly, I took him off the PPI meds, and his toe nails cleared, he has an appetite and is growing fine now. After 3 months I changed to Pro-Kids Hiperbiotics which continued the benefits for him, he goes to the bathroom daily, eats well and is growing great. He never gets sick anymore. This is a house staple for us. I fully recommend.

Wanted to try these for my kids who were having some issues being regular. * Super small. I couldn't believe how small these were when I first opened the bottle. * My kids hated the taste if chewed. The first time I gave it to them they chewed them and complained but finished them. Everytime after that they easily swallow them with a drink. No complaints. * Tiny pill, tiny bottle easy for storage. * Came with a safety wrapped cap and with the foil once you remove the cap for extra safety. * My kids have been taking these for a few weeks now and seem to have an easier time and are more regular. Everything else in their diet has stayed the same.

I'm still trying to hide these in my 4 year old daughter's food... She hates the taste of them to chew... I chewed one just to see what they're like and I don't think they really have much of a taste at all! I started taking them daily myself and I love them! I swallow them of course, so who knows! These are VERY TINY BEADS!!! Smaller than a pea! I really think they are great quality so I'm trying to hide them in her food.... Not having much luck with that though! I even covered one in melted chocolate to get her to eat it.... Yes ridiculous, I know! This is the ONLY probiotic I've ever actually seen RESULTS with though.... And I only buy good quality supplements.... We all take probiotics daily in my home and we just assume they are helping?? These we can see ACTUAL RESULTS with!!!! ****UPDATED REVIEW***** My daughter has now learned to swallow these probiotics (she is 4-1/2 years old)..... These are VERY SMALL pills round like a bead and a great way to teach your kid how to swallow pills. She just puts it in her mouth and takes a big gulp of water! I'm So proud of her! I'm so glad she can actually take these now!!!!
