Purchased for a relative. Very nice quality French Horn for beginners and every day use. Well made and functioned nicely.

Opened the box came out looking nice and shiny. However the rotary valves are stuck cant play the instrument at all. Good thing my return window is still open.

I can only give this horn 3 stars because it has sticky keys despite receiving TLC when it first arrived. I like the smaller wrap size compared to my Holton and my former Conn. The smaller wrap makes wind control easier and the sound of this horn is very good. The case it comes in is useless and has a mild chemical smell. The foam inside the case had a pretty poor covering job. The accessories were in the case loose so they banged around inside it (small box and battery package). The screw bell is nice to have but the bell itself was not smooth all the way around and inside the throat - hand placement, was rough. I love the size of this unit though and the wind resistance. Was hoping to have a less expensive practice unit. Just wish it was a little better made even with the low price. If the keys stick even when its been oiled, it's not much good.

I wasn’t super excited after the reviews that i read, but decided to give it a shot anyways. Yes, it isn’t the most luxurious horn that I've ever played on, but it works really well for what you pay for! I don’t have a band to play for and just wanted to be able to pick it up again. This is perfect for that! I’m excited to finally have my favorite instrument back and am able to play again finally! Now i just have to play like crazy to get my embouchure back! Highly recommend getting insurance on this. It doesn’t look easy to fix so if there are problems i am covered.

I just received a call from my son’s music teacher, informing me that this is a ‘toy’ instrument, that my son will not be able to use. The return window has been well closed, so I am now stuck with a very expensive ‘wanna be’ instrument.

It is lighter and easier to carry

Listing states “4 keys” but it is only the 3 key version without the Bb trigger. Plays well for price range. Box is flimsy and inside is made of styrofoam composite.
