Exceptional Sound & Build Quality! (Best 16-Gauge OFC Wire)
I recently upgraded my home theater system and needed a reliable, high-quality cable for my surround speakers. After researching, I decided on this 50 ft. Spool of 16 Gauge Oxygen-Free Pure Copper Speaker Wire, and I couldn't be happier. If you are currently using CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) wire, you are doing your speakers a disservice. Switching to this pure OFC wire made an immediate, noticeable difference. Here is why this wire gets 5 stars: Premium Material (Pure Copper): This is true Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC), not cheap, brittle aluminum coated with copper. It provides significantly lower resistance, ensuring the full signal reaches my speakers without distortion. My system sounds crisp, clear, and more alive, especially in the high frequencies. True 16-Gauge Thickness: The gauge is spot-on. It’s thick enough to minimize signal loss over a 50-foot run, yet flexible enough to be routed behind furniture and around corners easily. Installation is a Breeze: The wire is neatly wrapped on a solid spool, preventing tangles. It is very easy to strip, and the outer jacket makes it durable against scuffs and cuts. Convenient Polarity Markings: One side of the clear/colored jacket is clearly marked, making it effortless to distinguish polarity and set up your audio system without mistakes. Versatility: With 50 feet, this is the perfect length for almost any home stereo, bookshelf speaker, or home theater setup. Verdict: If you want to maximize the performance of your speakers without spending hundreds on boutique cables, this is the best value high-performance wire available. Highly recommended for audiophiles and casual listeners alike!

Decent quality all copper speaker wire
Good quality speaker wire All copper NOT CCA Red stripe makes it easy to separate positive from negative Fairly high strand count so it is easy to bend Insulation strips of easy and cleanly Probly worth the money I spent but it's not cheap

Great speaker wire
Excellent quality wire. Thick molded insulation. One side has a red stripe for matching terminals between speaker and receiver. The wire is a bit stiff because it’s so thick, but that just means it’s durable and will withstand pulling through holes and walls. 50 feet is plenty long for most home theatre systems. I run 100 watts per channel and the wire handles it fine.

Good quality
Haven't had to use them yet but, better to have them before I need them than need them and not have them.

The Battle of the Speaker Cables...
How many discussions about the topic of the title Hi End purists fight and have different points of view on this specific topic. I'll tell you that I've noticed a change in the timbre of the sound reproduction of my modest hi-fi system and I don't know if for better or for better. Previously I used larger diameter cables, certified OFC and 99.9% copper. These cables are nothing special, the OFC certification is not printed on the cable jacket and they seem a bit too light to be 99% pure copper, However, they are well made with many small diameter leads and the outer sheath is reasonably good. With these cables the sound has become more balanced, the low and high frequencies are less emphasized and the sound is more linear. I don't know if this depends on the different diameter of the cable compared to the one I used previously but I can tell you that I like them for the consistency of the sound. This probably also depends on the type of speakers and amplifier you use, I will probably choose larger diameter cables in the future. I'm sure many of you will have noticed some differences in the timbre of the sound and I'm not telling you anything technical. Use your ears even if in practice it shouldn't change the sound significantly... . These are really very simple cables, there is little more to add. Some doubts about the certifications but honestly for years in the past I have used simple electrician cables without having any problems. Then I went crazy and I'm one of those who spent thousands of dollars on esoteric sound systems... , that's all.

Great performance and easy to work with.
These speaker wires seem to work great (I used AWG 16). I used them to hook up cheap-o Polk Audio speakers (the T-series), to an entry-level Pioneer AV-receiver (VSX-LX103 Elite). I've never done anything like this before, and in my experience I found the wires to be very easy to strip using a cheap (but quite nice) wire stripper from the hardware store. I also found the wire very easy to twist prior to inserting into banana plugs for insertion into the back of the AV-receiver, or for insertion into the plugs at the back of the Polk Audio speakers (which did not accept banana plugs). The red stripe on the outside of the wire was very useful to ensure that I was keeping the correct polarity, and I also found the wire surprisingly flexible. Finally, the sound from the system that I set up is very, very good, and I don't hear any interference at all, even though there is a lot of other electrical wires touching and/or very, very close to the speaker wires at the back of the TV. I can only conclude that this speaker wire is really quite good, and the price seems fair (I paid $15 for 50 feet).

Nice Speaker Cable 16GA
Need speaker wire to wire <20ft run for my pool cabana sound system, and this fit the bill perfectly. I like the fact it's Oxygen Free Copper and UL listed at the price point of inferior Copper Clad Aluminum. My music sounds great thru these on my Klipsch outdoor speakers connected to an old school Onkyo tuner.

High quality! Great wire!
Excellent wire! Made my own banana plugs and this wire worked perfect. High quality copper - don't buy the aluminum core garbage. Not worth the negligible savings. Get this instead!

Good quality and looks good also. 30 ft run to 4-6 Ohm speakers, no problem. I tried to use cheaper CCA wire, but I could hear the difference.

I wanted 12 awg wire for my prime speaker wire but discovered that 16 awg doubled equates to 13awg which is close enough. All other components also purchased on Amazon and I made 2 10ft lengths. Excellent.
